Not liking getting hit and shying away from contact are two totally different things. I am everything to everybody, so your kinda right...
-
Ya, that's me. Lol. You really need to make up your mind on who I am. In another thread you accuse me of "posting so much it has to be true." Pick a narrative.
-
And it doesn't mean it won't. See Chad...
-
I can agree with this, although I don't recall QB play against SMU at Apogee being good. At all.
-
And never got above 3rd team. You have no idea what he is or isn't. No one does.
-
And you are never getting hit. And he never got above 3rd team. Look, he may be all-conference CUSA by year's end, but the way college teams practice nowadays (no hitting the QB), you have zero way to know how he will play in live game action. To say you do is just foolish. Akunne's hit on the Ram's rookie QB is the perfect example. In a college practice, Akunne would have had to pull up, causing him to "touch down" the QB after the ball was delivered. In live game action, Akunne gets to come with a full head of steam, hit the QB as he releases the ball, and cause a turnover. This is the type of situation Morros HAS NEVER FACED. In FBS college football. How will he react? No one knows.

I would hope so considering he is 30 years younger. You have zero idea. He could pop right back up and throw a TD of get a permanent case of happy feet. Ill be waiting for the 1st quarter September 3rd to find out.
-
This is exactly correct. I remember a conversation with a retain moderator on this board about the kid from Colorado. Practice team MVP. Wait till next year. Great arm. Yada yada yada. Fans tend to see what they want to see, especially in practice. I'll wait for live game action before believing the hype, but that's just me. And I only use the moderator as an example of hundreds of posts that have appeared on this board, and that's just Emmitt posting about Dajon...
-
No one how he will respond the first time an FBS 310 pound DT puts him on his back. No one. I have hope, but until I see how he responds to heavy physical contact, I refuse to get excited.
-
We have zero idea at this point. We all hope not, but we also all heard Mac and Chico rave about how improved Mini Mac was last year. It wasn't true. I'm taking the wait and see approach to this QB situation.
-
If he throws 3 picks in the first half and has happy feet in the pocket, it'll be pretty clear. Throwing with red shirt on is much easier than live action.

What Should Be The New ADs First Order Of Business

A fine list. I would swap 10 and 11 in the order. -
Let's judge this after the 1st half of the SMU game, shall we? Its nice to hear he has as good an arm as any Tech QB, but the natural follow up would be then why couldn't be get above third team at 'Bama? Best case scenerio is he has a breakout year, gets a free agent NFL deal and makes a roster. That way UNT can tell other grad transfers they have a similar path (see La Tech). Worst case scenerio is he has a case of the Chads against SMU. There is always a very wide variable with a complete unknown.

Ah. That Green Kool Aid tastes mighty good in August, but it's been know to cause serious Gastro-Intestinal issues by late September...

No, young Ben. Facts make the truth self evident. Without them, you have opinion. Most of what is said on this fan forum is opinion. The fact that you don't like mine and try to mischaracterize it just shows how insecure you are in your own opinions. But that's ok. Maturity will hopefully come. I would leave hopefully out, but some on here have proven that with age doth wisdom not necessarily come...

I should have said on the field talent.

There are several of us around from the 1988-89 seasons, also. We were ranked #1 in D1AA to start the season in 1989.

Come on. Even though you post here, would you really want to hang out with a dude wearing a screen name on his back and sitting in a fan forum section? I think not. We might as well dump a whole bottle of Axe on our body and bring our Star Wars memorabilia collection with us... -
UNT Dallas Law School in danger of not getting accredited

If that happens, immigration attorneys won't be needed. At all. -
UNT Dallas Law School in danger of not getting accredited
UNT90 replied to Cerebus's topic in Mean Green Football
There are many unemployed and underemployed young lawyers out there. The market is saturated. And to think a law school is there to generate representation only for poor people is insane, unless you like a really, really dirt poor law school. Law Schools, much like the school of business, offer varied specialties from which to choose for potential JDs. And yes, anyone with any knowledge will tell you it's an over saturated job market right now. -
Lots of green Kool aid talk which inevitably comes the first 2 weeks of any fall camp. We have less than 70 players on scholarship. 3 wins would be a miracle. Anything over that would be cause for wild optimism for the future. So, no, nothing has changed for me. Strike that. THE major change is that UNT got rid of the biggest problem in its athletic department. I wish that meant more victories, but that move had nothing to do with talent or coaching.

Everyone who speaks publicly has them. It's a mental pause. Something to say while your are thinking about what you are going to say or the way you want to phrase something in the following sentence. Every public speaker does it when they aren't speaking from a prepared script.
