UTSA beating us out for the Lake Worth kid. Look, Littrell and co. got one recruit from Denton County that other schools wanted. That's one more than Mac, but still woefully underperforming. UNT had a foothold in East Texas, but that appeared to be Perry's doing. Point is UNT first needs to establish recruiting strongholds before they expand them. Right now UNT mostly just takes the leftovers. That is no way to build a winner. Here is hoping that changes between now and Feb 3, but time is running out.

I hope this happens, but I think it'll take two more losses. Dont worry. Pretty sure Benford can't beat either USM or La. Tech on the road.

I think you can. These rankings are for the complete season. Army beat Navy with Navy's 2 best players hurt. Navy had quality wins that Army couldn't match. I guess it depends on if you consider the ranking being fr the team on the field after the bowl game or for the complete body of work of said team. Sigh... It pains me to see our own fans dumbing down expectations. There are no G5 rankings. Thank God.
