    If we didn't hire someone with the ability to figure a way out of the mess that RV was allowed to create, we made the wrong hire, plain and simple.

    Contracts can be broken. It's a strong indication we made the wrong hire if Baker can't get out of some of these awful contracts.

    Army has played here before. As I recall, attendance was 20k. Trying to wish Army into a P5 doesn't work. Never has, never will.

    Similar predicts for identical reasons were made for SMU 2014. Didn't happen then, won't happen in 2017. Hell, UNT couldn't sell out UTSA when playing for a western division title.

    0-8 in conference. Benford snatches defeat from the jaws of victory again. This was the second most winnable game left on the conference schedule and UNT didn't. UTEP is, on paper, the last shot at a win this year. How long will this be allowed to continue?

    (-) Charlotte has the 2nd best offense in CUSA, UNT has the 4th worst defense in CUSA (push) Charolette has the worst defense in CUSA, but UNT has the second worst offense. (-) Charolette already beat the Benfords by 20 and scored 101 in the process.

    You also need to remember coaches pull offers. It's a 2 way street. Just need to hope he has a great relationship with UNT's staff and this is nothing more than a blip on his radar.

    A butt load more TV money? A more respected conference? Then again, we are just little ole UNT. We should just be happy where we are at... And we should always just be happy with what we get. I mean, why ask and rock the boat?

    Another game coached by Benford, who should have been gone 4 years ago. Still don't care at UNT. Another loss. UNT is a 3 point home dog. Might as well be 30.

    One of the reasons he gave for selecting UNT was being close to home and family could see him play. Well, UNT is closer than Houston, so I guess we see if is the case.

    And then how did those two stars perform on the field? 1-11 is the answer. Thats the part you always leave out. I wonder why. Missing on 3 star recruits doesn't make 2 stars better, it just increases the level of suck in your program.

    JJ will be 56 years old and coming off a huge contract at LSU (compared to what UNT will pay). I don't want someone looking for a soft place to land. Give me someone who is hungry, not someone pushing himself back from the dinner table.
