This is the definition of libertarianism. To me, a true conservative is fiscally responsible, believes in America first in foreign policy (protecting the interest of this country before all others), morality guided by christian principles. A party that welcomes religion and does not vilify it. I'd much rather have the "moral majority" and what they stand for as a group than those on the far left. The below goals are taken directly from their website: (1) TMMC will conduct an intensive "Voter Registration Campaign" through America's conservative churches, para-church ministries, pro-life and pro-family organizations. If this thing passes, we will see unemplyment at 15% a year from the date it is signed into law. What manufacturing we have left will flee to more business-friendly countries. The Republican party SHOULD win a landslide in 2010, if they can ever figure out what they are (don't count on this happening-after all, if they had stood up to the politicalizing of global warming in the first place, we wouldn't be where we are at now). The time has never been better for a truly conservative third party.

Leave the Presidential terms the way they are and make term limits one term for all of congress, thus eliminating, or severely reducing, the effect of lobbying. Turn them over every single election, eliminating the huge sense of entitlement of incumbants on both sides of the isle. It'll do them good to see how real Americans live for a change. Don't get the 24 year limit on judges, only because most don't serve that long in one position, especially at the supreme court level.

Supreme Court decisions make for strange bed fellows. Does anyone know where Souter came down on this? I am assuming in the "4" vote, but never assume with this court. This is important because Sotomayor would replace Souter's vote, thus possibly changing the outcome (said obvious man).
