Tim never asked that question, so, obviously, Jones didn't have to provide an answer. It was pretty good publicity for SMU. The camera shot was of Jones in the foreground with the interior of the stadium in the background. Jones also said that the home opener would be a sell out, with many fans sitting on the berm behind the endzone. It really was a puff piece, but it was Good Day, after all. They also talked about how Jones was out recruiting major schools for talent, in this year's class and in next's. This one week after the snide comment made by Tim about UNT and the stupid tailgating beer cans. Funny, he said UNT fans were upset about the beer can thing, but not one thing had been posted on here about them (surely we never over-react, right?), then made the " They've lost ten in a row, why are they griping" comment.
