I love the Rangers, but the bitchin by Kinsler about lack of fans support on a weekend where there was a monsoon and you lose 3 of 4 to the freaking A's while only scoring one run in 5,000,000,000 innings is embarassing. You know what? Win when you are supposed to win, prove your not the Rangers of the last 35 years (cept 96,98 and 99), then bitch about fan support. They would have had capacity crowds this weekend if they would have taken care of business against the A's. There would have actually been a pennant race to get excited about. When all you can do is barely stay in contact with the leaders, you are not going to maintain the interest of a football first state. But, good things for 2010. Cue Greenguy.

On the bright side, you can score a little crack in the parking lot (both kinds). You could probably score a little meth from the room next door, but those people are paranoid, so you would probably need to ease thier fears first. This is the reason I decide to skip this trip, couldn't find a 3 star hotel under $180 a night 3 months ago. Seriously though, take your own sheets and blankets. Just close your eyes when you strip the sheets because you really don't want to see those mattress stains. I would consider purchasing a plastic mattress cover (like the one you had when you used to wet the bed... Come on, admit it) to provide a shield.

Nathan Tune, the starting QB on Saturday, has 4.2 speed and is a huge threat to run the ball. Unfortunately, he can't throw the deep ball at all as he has the arm of a 4th grade girl. Our running backs suck, so no need to pay them any special attention. The punter is a freshmen and has a problem punting the ball 30 yards past the line of scrimmage, so I would keep that return guy sucked up pretty close. Our kickoff team is the best in the country, so just take a knee where you catch it. The defense has no weaknesses, so good luck. Good luck on Saturday, Mr. Saban

Truth be damned!!! Must have read over the passage about the ULM upset. That one was at least over a bowl team (even if it was the Independance bowl). The ones that really shouldn't have been included were the UCF and N. Illinois games. Bad Bama teams

I think the implication was that it has been done before. I'd love our chances against the Bama team that lost to UCF, but this ain't that team. Just trying to provide a little context to the anatomy. I would love to see the line previous to each of those games.

Wow. Sooo Apples to Oranges. Lets do a little comparison, shall we? ULM over Bama 2007- This was a 6-6 Bama team that was a year away. This team lost to Miss St. Their most impressive wins were over Arkansas and Tennesse at home (both close games) UCF over Bama - Probably one of the worst Bama teams in years. A 3-8 record, which included a 21-0 home loss to S. Miss. N. Illinios over Bama - Another bad Bama team. 4-9 with a road loss to Hawaii. La. Tech over Bama - This one was legit. Bama went on to win the SEC that year and lose to Michigan in overtime in the Orange Bowl. This Bama team is more talented than any of the Bama teams mentioned above. A huge task facing the boys this weekend. But GMG!!!

This smacks of a set up. Who really loses in this whole thing? Byonce comes out looking like an angel, Taylor Swift's name gets on the lips of people who never had a clue who she was before this, and Kanye gets more pub than ever, an appearance on Jay Leno in Prime Time, and more street cred with his "hard" fan base. A win for everyone involved. Set up? Or am I just cynical?

I view Tune's interception as much more of a coaching error than a QB error. Coaching staff shouldn't have put a 2nd team QB in that position. On the other hand, I really wish they would work on pump fake with Tune on an out and up with the receivers. Try to hit the big kid on the block square in the mouth a couple of times right from the get go. Maybe the corners will look at the game tape and try and jump the out. Now, if the O-line can keep Tune vertical long enough to make this throw...
