  1. Die hard or not it is hard to convince the family to get out to a game where we will have to get to the game in below freezing temperatures and it will only get a few degrees above freezing during the game. My buddies and I will make it but the kids are 50/50 staying at home and the wife will tell me not to wake her on my way out... If the streak is broken it is because of the scheduling. Notre Dame hardly ever has games in November and never this late in the month. Poor planning results in poor attendance.
  2. 3. Minute Rice (0-9) If you've ever prepared Minute Rice, then you know that you have to keep an eye on it. It has to be pulled from the stove at just the right moment or in an instant it will go from perfectly cooked to a hot, wet mess. After a season-long simmer, it's time to keep our eyes on the Owls, who will finish the season with three contests against opponents with losing records, including the annual Bottom 10 Bowl season finale against ... Boxes of Minute Rice cost $1.99 at Kroger. Can everyone going to the game bring a box to hold up? Make sure to buy the white rice to represent Rice University...
  3. Plenty of good seats available! Come on down...
  4. Light Grey. Chrome sucks during the day for the QB.

  6. Great final product!
  7. This photo is in the late 1st quarter. Cal just came off a huge win beating a top 25 team and was undefeated. Cal has 5 National Championships (all between 1920-1937) Call has 14 Conference Championships (2006 was the latest) Cal is 11-11-1 in there 23 bowl games Cal currently has 30 active NFL players (Aaron Rogers, Jared Goff, DeSean Jackson to name a few) Reported attendance 36,268 (stadium hold 63,000 and was not half full) I would say actual buts in seats was closer to 28,000. Just wanted those who did not go and did not get a good view to have a good look to compare vs Apogee.
  8. They opt in and get rewards.... who cares?
  9. Looks like they are putting North Texas on the Victory Hall side of the IPF.

  10. They have, it is a package. Ticket, bus ride, food, and a beat SMU t-shirt.
  11. Someone in the stands compined about our vuvuzela. It was hurting their ears. Jack wagons.. just wait till next game. They are $3 at party city. I an handing out $100 worth to the students.
  12. You only got the shirt if you were picking up your student tickets to the game.
  13. Called my daughter last night just to say hi. I asked her what she was doing and she said waiting in line for my football ticket. I asked her if there we a bunch of people and she said "Dad, this line is ridiculous. I love it!"
  14. Love Wren!
  15. (1) approximately 196′ wide X 426′ long with a minimum clearance height of 55′ for place kicking. (2) can the o-line use a music practice room for drills? It is an athletics building that will be used by the various teams first. After that I am sure they will allow the band to use it. Acoustics will be horrible as it is almost all hard scape. (3) All sports will have access. It is football focused and it has features for track (sand pits and sprinting lanes) and soccer. Not sure it is well fitted for golf. (4) For enough money and a high enough donation, everything is possible. Hell I am sure that if you wanted too consummate the marriage on the 50 yard line they could make it happen, again for enough money... (5) I have no questions. I agree that we have a top notch facility that can expand!
  16. Me and 6 others are making the trip. Plans are not final but it is starting to look like Wednesday - Really undecided I arrive mid day and am thinking one of two options. Arrive and head down to Monterrey for Dinner (went to language school there in the Army) head down to Carmel for a pub crawl. Get a hotel there. Drive up US-1 (PCH) to SF the next morning. Get a hotel in Sonoma and drink copious amounts of wine. Main drawback is it is a bunch of dudes... Thursday - Muir Woods and/or Point Reyes National Seashore. (This is the one healthy day) Hotel near Fisherman's Wharf. Friday - Do the tourist crap that is San Francisco. Take in a Giants Game. Punish Liver for bad behavior. Saturday - Put some black tape over my check liver light and head out to tailgate and watch the Mean Green whoop up on some Bears. After the game troll the Berkeley residents! Sunday - try to remember how I got back to the hotel, eat a greasy meal and drink water (for the first time in the week) Head to the airport for my way too early flight.
  17. I think the AC box is actually an electrical box to run the lighting that will be hidden behind the G. As you can see no external AC in this photo.
  18. Putting up the R this morning. And to put the size in perspective, there are people in this lifts if you zoom in.
  19. I am moving my daughter in to victory hall in the morning. I will try to snap some photos.
  20. Earlier this year you asked about ordering a custom corn hole and washer set. I can make a set to look like anything you would like if you want it. I build a cornhole set out of two-by-fours and half-inch plywood so they are very solid and heavy I can make it out of just the plywood which will make it lighter but less sturdy. The cornhole would cost $150 and washers would run $75. I would work with you on the design you want and they would be custom made for you. I can have them ready by the ACU game and will deliver them to your tailgate.

  21. I can make some banners 4x8: North Texas, Mean Green, CJK5H, SMWho?, I am open to ideas. I will need to check on price but I think cost will be between $75 and $100 each.
  22. Found this online. UNT INDOOR PRACTICE FACILITY Posted by Brenna Travis | July 2, 2018 This project will be a milti-use facility designed primarily for football with an ancillary use for track & field, soccer, and other uses. The facility will be an efficient retangular shape, approximately 196′ wide X 426′ long with a minimum clearance height of 55′ for place kicking. The Indoor Practice Facility wll be a pre-engineered barrel beam steel structure that houses a full artificial turf practice field with eighteen (18) runoff space on all sides. Within this runoff space are three (3) sprint lanes and a sand pit on the Eastern side of practice field. Ancillary spaces include entry lobby and restroom, recruiting lounge, kitchenette, restrooms, A/V, telecom, electrical rooms, stairs, and camera platforms, fire protection/sprinkler system, and tempered by full HVAC systems. The facility will be located south of the Athletic Center, constructed over one of the existing grass practice fields. For reference the bottom of Jerrytron at AT&T stadium is 90'. Actual punting may not work inside...
