  1. It's really wild how we have a fan base that ripped Aune, Seth, and our highly ranked offense this year, and not this, as the broadcast says, "triple digit one of the worst defenses in the country".... but cool, let's rip Aune's historic numbers and praise Phil shitting the bed cause he wears shorts
  2. Isn't Tarleton in the TAMU system? UT says they'll let them keep the name, but they've said that before, and they never have. It may be 9-10 years, but I wouldn't be shocked if it's UT-N eventually
  3. This came out of nowhere. Never thought I'd learn about the hire from an ESPN push notification.
  4. Not just "wasn't good".... an abject disaster.... https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/sec/2022/02/04/bryan-harsin-auburn-football-toxic-dysfunctional-program/6670942001/
  5. It is literally a bowl game. As much as any other. Are you mad cause it’s….. close? Cause you know a guy who wasn’t kicked off Fry St.? Most of us haven’t been tbh.
  6. I’m sure this is utterly meaningless, but all of Mosley’s twitter likes since his announcement are UNT things, wishes of congratulations, and then two others…. One by Garrett Riley and one by Lincoln. I’m sure it’s nothing and I’m still expecting Fuente. But. BUT.
  7. He definitely connected with the ladies at Auburn, that’s for sure
  8. UCF posted earlier today that they've already put the XII on their football field
  9. Not at all, I'm just saying that working with Kaden Slovis and JT Daniels is not even in the same stratosphere as working with Caleb Williams. Nothing more, nothing less.
  10. Mess? This is a pretty darn good situation with a young talented roster coming off a championship game. This is a good job that isn't close to a total rebuild.
  11. They brought in Caleb Williams too
  12. A&M Commerce (I know, but they’re a power at their level and a state school) just hired a HFC with no AD in place. For what it’s worth.
  13. I mean, he was 26-23 at Memphis. He didn't exactly kill it there. He was.... Seth Littrell. His big "championship" year at Memphis? He finished in a three way tie with no conference championship game. He didn't turn Memphis into a power. He was Seth if Seth took the K State job and failed there.
  14. And they tied ACU at a whopping 3-1 in the five team WAC. Give. Me. A. Break. But hey, look at it this way. After ol' Colby .500 got run 52-17 by LaTech, he took it out on winless for the season 1,200 student Warner College of Florida by a score of 98-0. Classy!
  15. 7:13. Nothing on E+
  16. It’s on ESPN+ but it’s 7:06 and nothing is happening….
  17. Don't even worry about it. If we hire a .500 FCS coach to replace our .500 FBS coach, well........ you can fill in the blanks. I agree with what was said before. You don't make this move and just do a midrange blah hire. This needs to be a big time home run.
  18. That whole Western Son alumni area was awesome. I had no idea it was going on until we got there, otherwise I'd have been there a lot earlier
  19. This timing is tough. Gotta get these hires done yesterday or it's zero.
  20. Just looking at this through my personal little window - I got to NT during the Matt Simon era. 25 years ago. In that quarter century, three degrees later, SL is the unquestionably most successful coach we’ve ever had, and not by a little. I had an absolute blast in the DD SBC title years, but that’s the closest thing we really had in that stretch save one outlier McCarney year. History will be kind to him as time rolls on.
  21. Oh that’s definitely in his replies 😂
  22. And on the “thanks for the memories” front, this really is pretty great and worth the watch. Those were good times.
  23. This is one of the most unusual football weekends man… twitter is wild right now
