Confirmed Keith Frazier headed to UNT
CaribbeanGreen replied to TheReal_jayD's topic in Mean Green Basketball
It's legit. All over the internet now. Wow. -
Why? Like, genuinely asking. How is that hilarious? But good for Baylor for winning a bowl game and winning two of their last five I guess?
-
Looks like Carolina made an adjustment or two after having no idea what Baylor would do at the outset.

Good Lord. We are potentially getting an Alabama transfer from Allen to come in here, be eligible next year, and run an exciting and prolific offense under our young and energetic new coach. For long time fans of this Sh*tshow like most of us are, this is about as good as it gets. Let's have a day, shall we? Right now, I don't care if it goes down in eventual fantastical flames. At this moment, good lord, it's a high point. #GMG

One hundo. We'd be tailgating at Jay Barker Memorial Hill and loving every minute of it. On the flip side, Katherine Webb would have stack a of P5 level restraining orders.

Kyle Allen Transferring From A&M
CaribbeanGreen replied to All About UNT's topic in Mean Green Football
Yup, he's already commenting that he likes OU. Seems like the spot. He'd be eligible the year Mayfield leaves. -
If you watch the Barnett interview with Littrell - particularly when they discuss his time at Tech - he speaks fondly of the offensive staff he was with and sort of glowingly mentions how much fun they had and that they "had to be one of the youngest offensive staffs in the country"...(paraphrasing). Point being, I don't think youth or inexperience is going to be viewed as much of a negative for Littrell, and may even be seen as a significant positive. Just thinking out loud.

Do you think Mr. Jones is REALLY about Adam Duritz' penis, or is it just Ben Affleck? Did Courtney Cox wrong him, or did the association more or less help elevate his Q rating? Have YOU ever had a long december? -

First road game I went to as an undergrad. I remember going just flat NUTS when Hut Allred popped that long TD run off. -
What on earth is going on in here?!? I'd say this feels like middle school, but that's insulting to upstanding middle schools everywhere.

You realize the people who did this are the people the refugees are fleeing from, right? but at least it took us less than a few hours to politicize it, so yay us? Maybe we can get a FB profile pic overlay celebrating that?

MGB breaking news -- Tony Worrell has died
CaribbeanGreen replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Basketball
Too young to have had the good fortune to watch Tony play, but had multiple great chats with the guy at the Pickup. My favorite place back in undergrad. Great dude. He'll be missed. -
I get the tepid reaction overall, I do... the whole retread vibe, etc... but the dude took Kansas to a BCS game. KANSAS. NOBODY wins at Kansas. Hell, nobody COMPETES at Kansas. Mangino made them regularly competitive and took them to the freakin' Orange Bowl. This ain't Mac at ISU level success here... this is legit... everything else notwithstanding. And as to the ISU firing, well, their offense is about the only thing they've done remotely well. I tend to believe it's a personality issue or possibly does have to do with how he set up this "meeting"... who knows... but I'm pretty comfortable assuming his firing wasn't performance based.

I wonder who will call plays.... Chico didn't call the plays when was the interim last time, Hines did. Wonder if he repeats with a similar setup.

Has to be. Flat out has to be. There's no rational scenario in which no one is axed by end of business Monday. Yes, even at UNT.

Could barely put weight on it. Damn.
