I did. This half is worse that Dodge's first half installing an all new offense game one with Dickey's players at a national title level opponent. I don't know how it's debatable. It doesn't even feel close to me.

Considering the timing, circumstances, opponent, state of the program, expectations? I don't think it's even close. This is light years worse than Dodge's first half.

With this kicking game I tend to agree, even when it's basically a PAT. That was a crusher.

He absolutely does not have distance. We have a "long FG kicker" on the roster. If you're calling your offense to a hash inside the 20 in the 2nd quarter, they shouldn't let you on the bus.

Eh. It was behind a bit, but the hold got down. It was a chip shot. He didn't mishit it. He's botched PATs and can't kick midrange-long FGs. You absolutely had to have that.

How is Nguma a middle school level kicker? Can't kick longer than 40, misses short ones, has missed PATs.... wasn't he a five star nationally ranked kid? That's a fatal flaw for a team that made the choice to keep the worst DC in the nation.

Tech was up 22-7 on Abilene Christian after the 1st. Hopefully we can at least be Abilene Christian.

It's funny... I was in undergrad during the Big West daffy eagle/script crossover days, and while I loved loved loved the memories and the turnaround, I thought the script helmets were so awful... we didn't use that font anywhere else, it looked cheap, felt just thrown together with no thought or branding... I cheered for those helmets with everything I had, but I found the script borderline embarrassing. Now? As times and looks have changed, and more than a dash of nostalgia has been sprinkled in? I think they might be kinda awesome??? Looking forward to this!

highlight reel play. That was embarrassing. Look, it is what it is. We brought back Caponi voluntarily for some reason no one can understand or defend. Luckily, this offense is potentially elite, could be statistically of the best in the country as long as Morris is upright. That’s the year we’re gonna have.

With just a little help, this offense could get us somewhere. Imagine if we’d made some changes on the other side of the ball….
