I mean unless we win the tourney, he'll eventually be right

No data, but free throw shooting is a combination of focus and technique. I'd think both suffer somewhat when tired.

Just wondering if anyone has opinions on uniforms, and which colors we should wear? We should start a thread sometime!

They're spiders, gross. 😇

Maybe in jest, but a rematch would be so much fun. We're less of a put it all on one guy (Javion) to win it team this year.
-
Someone really overlooked though and extremely important has been McBride. Dude has been getting better and better and hitting big shots. So important especially when they take Perry away which is easier to do because of his height. You can't pound inside if you have no outside threat, and McBride has been providing that.

Abou is really stepping up. His improvement from last year is 📈 T Bell is sometimes frustrating to watch, but in big games he is clutch. When it's a battle he most likely is going to win out. It's so impressive how the team keeps improving game by game. Best coaching staff in CUSA.

Why is Littrell asking twitter to follow them?

Agreed. I better see some Taco Tuesday posts from Littrell today, or I'm unfollowing. -
Promotions - Getting DFW to The Super Pit

This is the kind of content I used to enjoy on the site, but unfortunately it is rare anymore. I'd like my money back unless we get more of this.- 62 replies

An awful lot of "in my day" vibes in here 😅

I agree with everything you said, and good for the players getting paid etc. However, the school gets nothing for the time and development of players. They should sign the players for contracts, and if they want to leave that's fine, then the players agent can get the new team to buy him out of his contract just like coaches.
-
Look, a system that was broken for years is finally working for the players at least a little, and the rich will capitalize off it. The main issue is that the non-rich programs don't even get paid when they develop players. Just sign contracts, and if a kid wants to leave his agent has to get some team to buy him. I mean the rich schools can just buy players now and then buy players they didn't buy the first time for free. It's laughable.

ODU post game fan thoughts
MeanGreenHoops replied to Coach Andy Mac's topic in Mean Green Basketball
Yeah, they aren't paying attention. Every guy who plays for us is efficient on both sides of the ball. Basically, we get good, shots, defend like crazy, take away what you want to do, impose our will on you... You know, the opposite of our football team. But since we don't have some hot shot scorer or stud recruit they can't figure it out.- 14 replies

@Censored by Laurie gave you the actual explanation, but just in case, I think you answered your own question here.

50th Anniversary of First Game at the Coliseum

Interesting, that logo looks more like a sports logo than our current one kind of. Especially if update to current colors (quick edit) -
Most fans/media are pretty clueless except for the team they watch/cover. And when they play us they see a team that has no superstar and doesn't really fill it up, so they can't figure out how they are losing.
-
Agreed. We are weaker than last year and even moreso than the year before. But Coach has a well oiled machine now, so we are winning games on the road with even talent.
-
ATM, no one. But McBride might be stepping into that role, which would greatly help out Perry.
-
Yeah the last class was suprising? considering the NCAA run, or maybe that takes another year to kick in. Perry is a great player but his lack of height makes him hard to be a consistent threat without other outside threats. It probably also reduced the competition for him. Scott is a good find as he looks like a project offensively but is filling the Bell role from last year now that bell seems to be working on his NBA game each week during the game.

Also, this was actually the worst thing I saw last night.

Serious question. should i get the fries AND the milkshake?
