I don't have the stomach to read through 4 pages of nonsense. This is in response to many of the comments on the first page of this thread

You're just pointing fingers at someone else to deflect the criticism from yourself. Second, if you're saying that being intolerant of intolerant people is equal to being intolerant of people who don't affect you in any way, then you're dumb and a bigot . Also, It only works on other stupid people. No one with any sense would buy into this logic.

This is my first time witnessing a non-losing UNT football season. After this victory, I officially shed my first football tear. I am just so happy for these seniors who have put so much sweat and blood into this university and have seen so little in return. Until this year. I couldn't be happier for those guys.

Having these kinds of expectations is a good way to get let down. I will be shocked if we have this game put away by the 4th quarter. Thats not the way we do things around here.

Unless Canales is just completely inept as a coordinator, these play calls are indicative of a coach that has no faith in his QB. If Thompson is back next year as the starter, I will have lost all faith in this coaching staff.

I think we can win 20 games. We really only play 4-5 upper level teams. We're all just going to have to lower the expectations. If not you are absolutely going to lose your mind this season. Losing by 20ish wasn't all that uncommon in the JJ era when we played good teams. We just expected way too much with this roster. The problem is this roster isn't really any better than JJ's 20 win teams outside of mitchell. We have no one on this team with the ability to shoot the 3, make free throws, and slash to the basket like TT. We have no one with the quickness and 3 ball abilities of domo. And whether we have anyone with the clutch play of Josh White has yet to be seen. Looking back, it really seems kind of silly that the bar was set so high.

I think we'll be fine as long as we are playing mediocre to bad teams. Because we are a mediocre to bad team. Can't shoot the 3, or defend the 3. That's a pretty big problem.

That's going to happen all year long . Even against d2 opponents we have trouble putting pressure on perimeter shooters

It really irritates me that we will never go to a look like this. This is quite possibly the best uniform concept I have seen so far. Why the AD believes that having the letters "NORTH TEXAS" spelled out on the helmet would give us more brand recognition than "NT", just absolutely boggles my mind. Who looks at the helmet to figure out what team is playing? Its displayed on the screen for the entire duration of the game for christ's sake. Usually next to a number that is lower than the other team's number. I also don't understand what the big deal is about having black on the uniform... "But, its not a school color?!!!" Who cares? It looks badass.
