I just got back to my hotel from the game... The crowd was very tame, it was 70% empty. We could have really used tramiel to step it up a bit. He played with heart like he always does, but he just couldnt hit anything from the inside. George looked a step above everyone. I was extremely impressed with the spark mangrum added in the second half. I think we need to see more of him. So far its been a blast though, I am still very glad I made the trip up here. I still think this will be a very good squad the rest of the year. go mean green!

I have a wed night class I absolutely can not miss. But I will be watching from espn MVP. It's interesting how many people on this board preach that we are the best team in DFW, but we can't seem to beat the only other team in DFW we actually play. I hope we change that this year!. Go Mean Green!

Stradford is not playing. That pass was to Seidle, when they broadcasters said Stradford. He is not redshirted anyway, he was redshirted last year. He can't play AND he still loses eligibility. Nothing to worry about.

After watching the game last night, I am convinced that Tune should be our starting QB until he graduates. This will give time for Dodge to develop and hopefully become more durable with some strength and conditioning. So far this season Tune has shown he can throw deep ball much better, he is more accurate, and makes less mistakes. Even if Dodge is cleared to start next week its time to change it up. We are about 10 points from being 4-2 this year. Without all of those Dodge turnovers I believe this team would still be in the SBC hunt for the title.

I was tailgating right in the middle of the orange lot yesterday and had a chance to talk to several people I just met. Out of the 10 or so people I talked to, not one person was actually going to the game. I actually convinced 2 people to go to the game, but other than that everyone else just stayed out there. Tailgating is great for getting people out there, but if were not winning its hard to get people in the game.

A quick search in the my.unt directory shows that Mangrum is employed by the athletic department and says "student assisstant". Also it lists Alzee as a freshman business major, so it appears that he did enroll.

This is the same rating system that has the pac-10 listed as the best conference in college football... I'm not sure I can really take this seriously.

Actually our Defense only allowed 13 points in regulation. The Offense gave up 7. Nevertheless the improvement from last year is astounding.

They weren't even scanning student ID cards. I wonder how they came up with that number.

At every single sporting event in college people chant "bullshit" when they see a bad call. The other stuff, I agree, was over the top. It just takes a couple people with bad judgement to get it started.

I'd rather have a rowdy student side yelling obscenties, than an alumni section 3/4ths empty and mostly sitting on their hands all game.

They showed OU losing to Idaho state by 10 and LSU beating vandy by like 50 points. Someone was just back there making stuff up. Not sure how this is possible. Unacceptable.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm glad we have someone to tell us that we very well could lose the next 6 games.

I talked to Todd Dodge after practice and he said Bush will have an MRI on Friday, but it looks like he will be out at least 3-4 weeks. If the worst-case scenario plays out and Bush has torn ligaments, he will be gone for the year." This isn't final yet. It would be great if it were 3-4 weeks, but it doesn't really sound like they know until the MRI results are in. Lets just hope that he isn't out for the year.
