Zimmerman_Martin Trial
Varsity replied to EagleGreen's topic in The Eagles Nest (There Should be Pie For Everyone Forum)
The verifiable aspects of Zimmerman's story check out, the forensics check out, the police did not want to arrest him -- they had no probable cause. The police chief was fired and the mayor leaned on by the White House which helped politicize the case. From the start, the prosecution could not make it's case. Emmitt, if you had anything that could help the prosecution, you should have offered it. But you didn't because you don't so .... -
Zimmerman_Martin Trial

Wow. CLEARLY? Did you listen to the effing tape? It was not a clear order at all. Also, the guy was a 911 dispatcher! A dispatcher is not a cop. I suppose if a cashier at a grocer store told you to put the ice cream back because "you don't need that," you'd do it? Wait, a minute ... is this post satire? Have I just bitten into a satire doughnut? -
Zimmerman_Martin Trial
Varsity replied to EagleGreen's topic in The Eagles Nest (There Should be Pie For Everyone Forum)
This trial saw the American media sink to new lows, fabricating voices, whipping up racial hysteria, misreporting facts, speculating, exposing Zimmerman's social security number to the masses. I'm not sure he will be acquitted (I wonder if the jury is considering the rioting and looting threats that are all over social media) but if he is, I hope Zimmerman moonwalks outta the courtroom with both middle fingers blazing. The victim was on trial in the case for the crime of defending himself from attack. If nothing else, this whole sorry mess should wash away forever the fiction of liberal multiculturalist tolerance. -

All they did was stack sheets of cake and pop in jellybeans. Man, Aggies really need to check themselves. -

UNT celebrates 100 years with All-Century team
Varsity replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
Silver Eagle, you are right about Hayden Fry. If you've read his book, you know he has a tendency to stretch the truth. I'll take Ramesy over Washington. Offensive lineman Willie Parker ought to be on the team as well. -

Remembering Ray Lewis

Call me, there is someone I know who needs to have an "accident." That is a decal I saw on eBay.

Remembering Ray Lewis
Varsity replied to Mean Green 93-98's topic in The Eagles Nest (There Should be Pie For Everyone Forum)
Funny, the title of this thread popped up as just as ESPN ran a segment devoted to Ray Lewis' intro dance. One person interviewed said he thought there would be people crying when they watched Ray's last dance. ESPN apologizes for Brent Musberger's statements about how beautiful a woman is, but they praise the degenerate Ray Lewis. yea -
The Professional Military
Varsity replied to SilverEagle's topic in The Eagles Nest (There Should be Pie For Everyone Forum)
No, not really. Sure it was a declared war but the colony of Hawaii wasn't anymore "our homeland" than the colony of Afghanistan is. I wouldn't favor a draft either. Forcing people into an any organization, particularly one designed for combat, is never a good idea. -
