  1. I would pick A. However, I kinda like playing with the idea of bringing back the two-tone, Apple Green look from the Hayden Fry era:
  2. Yeah, playing a COMPLETE game is always better. By the fourth quarter Wyo was looking like a pair of incontinent adolecent's underwear with all that brown and yellow. How anyone could like Penn State's togs is beyond me. They look more like a uniform template than a uniform. As for Georgia's helmets, the Green Bay Packers did it first and better.
  3. Dave Yaege, Houston Waltrip High.
  4. Especially Kansas. The Pac-12 didn't want Colorado on its own, they wanted CU to get TEXAS. Colorado might be better off in the Pac-12 because they have a great many alumni on the West Coast and the "culture" is more suited to that part of the country (which means lacksidasial toward football) but the Pac-12 doesn't get much out of CU. Colorado has a struggling football program, a DOA basketball program and no baseball at all. The vaunted Denver TV market is diverse and would just as soon watch Air Force or Texas as CU. Tommy Tuberville was a bad hire. Eat it Texas Tech.
  5. BYU didn't gain the upper hand over Utah until the mid-1970s. Before that the Cougars were pretty damn pitiful on the football field. When your coach leaves you for UTEP like Tommy Hudspeth did BYU in the late 1960s, you know you're third string. Salt Lake City is nice and, frankly, Utah seems to bring a hell of a lot more to the Pac-12 than Colorado does.
  6. I've seen Div II West Texas A&M get between 10,000 and 23,000 fans for a game into Kimbrough out in little ole Canyon, Texas.
  7. Yes. ... Wait, NO!
  8. What the hell? Texas A&M vs Ole Miss is good football but Texas vs Arizona State is a yawn? I guess you'd pick Rosie O'Donnell over Katherine Heigl.
  9. Do people really wear that much orange?
