  1. A) None of them were close to being completed. B) There are other ways to stretch the field. i love this coaching staff but yet to figure out what our offensive philosophy is. Just wish we were more patient with the short passing game. That would open the run game too
  2. It's always hard to tell if it's the quarterback making the wrong decision or play calls but our offensive plan in the first half was awful. Not patient at all. Buyers and Thompson are good safe options for 5-8 yard passes but instead we chucked the ball down the field. There are games where the players don't execute and the turnovers hurt but I thought the game plan early was bad. Also didn't like the outside blitzes against a mobile QB. Burned us several times
  3. I was there and live I was sure it was offensive PI. But when the showed it on the video board in the stadium i changed mind. Definitely a weird play with the ball being under thrown but I think it was the right call.
  4. Ideas that sound cool aren't ideas that always work. No.
  5. They already did that dance and doubt they are interested in repeating it.
  6. As I get older they look younger. Much younger.
  7. Myself, Evan and his +1. Working on a +1 as well.
  8. You forgot "See you later (insert opponent name here)!!" Example- "See you later McNeese State!!!" Damn 1994 was fun. Til the one-armed bandit struck.
  9. Don't know but their offense has collapsed. We've never beat them so I'm not extrememly confident but this feels like a year we'll exorcise the past. Plus I'll be there and I'm a hell of a lucky charm.
  10. Fifth.....FIFTH!!!! No UTEP on that list. If we can beat UTEP and Army then split with UTSA and USM we can get to six wins. Tough to see us beating LTU and WKY. Enjoying the ride.
  11. It's humorous (actually it's more annoying) that you and you know who are on different sides of the coin yet still find anything to complain about. Great win and great to watch the kids play with enthusiasm. All of the issues of this program, and there are many, won't get solved overnight. Chill out and enjoy the ride.
  12. At any time did you think McNulty would be a good CUSA quarterback? I don't know if Fine will be but I KNEW McNulty would never be.
  13. I think McNulty had three pick-sixes in this amount of time. He's not Mini-Mac. Not close.
  14. Yep, no easy answers. Especially with a struggling OLine.
  15. 5 rushing yards. Too many sacks. He got no help but then again he didn't exactly light it up either. 5.6 yards an attempt. I'm not criticizing him. I'm not overly praising him either. And no to Morris.
  16. Instead of looking at yards, you might want to check out the third down conversions. Overcorrecting the other way is as dumb as overreacting to this one game.
  17. I'm willing to ride the rollercoaster with a true freshman but that's a ridiculous view of how he played today. People should chill out though, this wasn't going to get fixed overnight. For a game that was fairly close, we threw the ball way too much.
  18. It's definitely not my number one priority this year.
  19. Gonna take time fellas. Our talent isn't anywhere near our effort. But the effort is there.
  20. I thought that at the time. The signs were there concerning RV.
  21. Truth be told I'm still stunned we're starting a true freshman at quarterback and have a coach confident enough to do that.
  22. If you went, you'd know exactly what he means. LSU is horrible too, a LSU fan sitting next to me when we played there guessed the figure at 90%. Crazy thing is my experiences at TTech have been pretty good. Was in line to buy a ticket for a friend when a Tech fan walked up and gave me one.
  23. That's funny considering my experiences in Norman.
  24. We're tempting the football gods with this Butt Cookman crap.
  25. No offense my friend but if you haven't jumped ship by now, you're not going anywhere. I can say the same thing about myself. It ain't easy being green.
