I don't care if Scooby Doo is their quarterback, I just want to be 3-2 with a two game winning streak going into the rest of the season. After some kneejerk reaction (I'm referring to myself) after the SMU game and the first half of the Cal game, this team may be better than I thought.

Before I call the customer service line and light them up has anyone else had problems? I ordered two shirts, they immediately charged my card and neither the tracking number works and my order doesn't show up anywhere on my account. Both items were supposed to be delivered by now and neither shows as processed or shipped. I know it's an outside company and not the athletic department but I'm not happy.

UCLA drew 36K for OU. Don't want to sound like Chicken Little but I think in the very near future football is going to have an attendance problem.

Not true. Back in the day the NCAA handled all the TV contracts until a few schools sued, won and the NCAA no longer controls conference TV contracts. To me this is all about momentum. If it only happens in CA then I could see the California schools backing down to the NCAA. But if another P5 conference gets on board, the NCAA will get steamrolled.

We are 5-5 in our last ten versus FBS competition. We’re not even a good G5 at this point.

History shows we don’t get much takeaway from these games besides some experience and a W. That’s what they’re for so let’s take it and move on. We should be scoring 35-40 points a game and even with an average D, that wins us most games. On to SMU

UC Davis and their style is a pain in the ass. They usually play FBS teams tough.

WKU had multiple ten win seasons recently so they’re not a perennial lousy team. You can struggle against UCA but you gotta win that game. Butch Davis hasn’t won anywhere as a head coach not named Miami. Charlotte? Yeah, good luck winning there.

I'm not a fan of the "What if?" game but if you would have asked "What if you have to put up with a few more years of RV but you get Wren, would you?" I would've said yes. And yes, I was a little impatient thru the first six months of WB but I'm pretty damn happy now. Keep him, please.

Lots of memories from that season but here's a few- -Couple more breaks and that team wins 2-3 more games. The UAB loss was pretty crushing at the time -The win over ISU went long and I was an hour late to my college job at the time. When my boss asked me if it would be worth it to get fired over a football game, he was shocked when I said "Yes." -We were down 10-7 at Bama at halftime and their TD came from a pick six. That stadium was nervous. -If I remember right we drove down the field at Nevada to take a 7-0 lead then gave up about forty straight points. I got into it with some drunk Wolfpack fans and they escorted me out for my own safety although quite a few Pack fans apologized for their fellow a-holes. -After UNLV we thought Gulley was going to be our QB savior for the next few years. Then he bailed and played tight end at USM -Every game was on local TV. About the only good thing that Helwig did during his tenure. -Quite a few players on that team were instrumental in the victory over Tech two years later.

I’m still wrapping my head around that it’s game week.

I know UNT Athletics doesn't get a great ROI (as in views) on a lot of their social media stuff but I hope they continue to put out quality stuff. It keeps people engaged with athletics and makes us look bigger time. Kudos to all involved with our social media presence.
