We just saw Fine and Smith miscommunication on a offhand. That's one reason for both still being in the game and us running the ball so much today. Mason and Smith can use the game reps.

Am I the only bored by this second half? Our offense hasn't done much and Rice's offense is horrible to watch.

I'm also watching the Michigan - Ohio St game and it appears the one of our former quarterbacks tranferred to Michigan and is starting at quarterback for them. That's the best explanation I have for how bad their quarterback has played which is really, really, really bad. It's only their outstanding defense that is keeping Michigan in the game.

Good news in the short term. This could just delay Kliff getting fired by another year when Seth could be more interesting to the with another good year.

At this point I don't believe it's the LHN that's holding things up. I believe it's the granting of television right until 2025. No one can leave the B12 until this without huge penalties or concessions. Right now it looks like things will stay "as is" until then. That also gives the conferences plenty of time to judge the changing landscape of college football. We have until then ... or really until about 2023 ... to make our best case. It will be here sooner than you think.

Fine is really good ... especially for only a sophomore ... but he still makes plenty of mistakes so he can see him get better. Also, looking at that picture in the OP he doesn't seem to have big hands yet he still throws a terrific ball and tight spirals.

I had a great idea last night. If the new owners of the DRC want to save a little money they could fire Vito and hire the sports writer from the NT Daily that's been doing a great job lately. Vito reminds me the guy who was always picked on as a little kid so now her subtly tries to get revenge whenever he can. The DRC can do much better.

I think it's graded on a scale taking into consideration how they do against their opponents. One good question they should ask: Is Mason is the best college quarterback in the state of Texas?

This is what I thought as well. With only one week they didn't feel it was enough time to make big changes.

I saw plenty of times when a safety came up and missed the tackle. There's enough blame to go around to all the positions on the field. I wouldn't argue against a change as there are coordinators who seem to get more out of their talent that Reffert does. The problem is finding the right DC and that might be harder than it sounds. If Seth is happy then I'm happy.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Liberty have a good group of fans. They have some great support. i lived in Virginia for 8 years before moving back here this summer. I know and worked with a lot of great people who went to Liberty or follow them. I'm hopeful I can go to the game at Liberty next season.

On the post game show Seth said he *might* be back for a bowl game but not looking good for CUSA championship game. They'll know more tomorrow but his career may be done.
