The little that I read about FAU is that the previous coach did a tremendous job recruiting but couldn't translate that talent into wins. Now they have the coaching to go with the talent. FAU Connoissuer ... is that the main difference this season? I'm really surprised by not only you guys winning the East but winning so convincingly. Granted, we didn't really show up for our game against you but that game made y'all look like a top P5 team and made us look like a low Sun Belt team.

It's getting ridiculous though the market pays what the market pays. This is why there's a real lack of quality head coaches in the NFL.

This seems like a fun neat idea but the more you think about it the less it is. It all depends on you winning and the other team having territory. In theory you could go undefeated and have no land because your opponents didn't have any at the time they played you.

I disagree. I think a big, fast, powerful back will always be a better fit in just about every offense. I think Jeff has better top speed once he gets going and the size to break more tackles and gain extra yards when tackled. Overall Jeff is the better back. The biggest issue for Jeff this season was ball security and I would be very tempted to use Nic over Jeff just for this reason alone.

As long as they don't hire a coach who installs the triple option I think we'll be ok.

In this defense it would be nice to have safeties with good size to help stay healthy and help more against the run without losing their coverage ability.

We just saw Fine and Smith miscommunication on a offhand. That's one reason for both still being in the game and us running the ball so much today. Mason and Smith can use the game reps.

I'm also watching the Michigan - Ohio St game and it appears the one of our former quarterbacks tranferred to Michigan and is starting at quarterback for them. That's the best explanation I have for how bad their quarterback has played which is really, really, really bad. It's only their outstanding defense that is keeping Michigan in the game.

Let's just say Rhyan England won't be receiving a Christmas card from Dave Barnett.
