  1. Thanks for the link. She was the wife of Fred Graham, former SID at UNT.
  2. That rings a bell. Isn't she the wife of a former UNT AD?
  3. May I ask who Shelby Graham is?
  4. When it's installed we may have Texas Rangers officials visiting as they decide whether to install grass or turf.
  5. Cheaper than I thought it would be.
  6. It's not the quality of the broadcast that's an issue. It's the quality of the stream. Even true ESPN games can have horrible quality of the stream with lots of buffering and disconnections. I've paid for games on the CUSA website and I've seen some truly horrible broadcasts. I've never had as much issues with buffering that I've had with ESPN 3.
  7. I disagree. ESPN 3 has an awful stream. Facebook provided a much, much better stream.
  8. That video is awesome! It's awesome. Oh, and it's also awesome. Take seven minutes out of your day to watch this video.
  9. 2019 will be Mason's senior year.
  10. Getting a new coach who knows and is known by local high school coaches could be a huge benefit to the program.
  11. Good to see kids realize their dreams and give themselves an opportunity to better their future.
  12. I'm not sure what the point is of having the motto written where it will be hidden every game under the opponents' players.
  13. You may be right but I didn't sense that. In fact, I'd say they would not want him to say anything to demean himself. Mason is an Oklahoma kid so they want him to succeed (as long as he doesn't beat any of the Oklahoma schools). With Littrell and Mason people in Oklahoma are paying more attention to UNT than ever before.
  14. Good stuff. According to Mason, Jason Pirtle is now on scholarship.
  15. I'm disappointed this aspect as well. I was unable to go last time but was looking forward to making it one day. What really upsets me is that I lived in Virginia for 8 years and UNT never played a game in the state. Last summer we moved back to Texas and now they have two games in Virginia in the same season. Sometimes timing stinks.
  16. The UAB games should not have been close at all. Twice Wilson turned the ball over deep in UAB territory. We also had Nate Brooks (I believe it was him) who continued his issue of peaking into the backfield and getting burned on deep passes. It was soon after he was benched. After the game I felt like we should have won by 21 points if not for Wilson's turnovers and Brooks letting receivers run by him. I expect UAB to be better this year but I also expect our offense to be better with another year of experience for our returning players. We should win but if we have a bad game UAB could take it.
  17. Very few UDFA get 3 year contracts the day after the draft. There was probably more than one team that really wanted him. It doesn't mean a whole lot since SF could just cut him during camp and only lose any signing bonus they gave him (not sure they gave him one). It is a good sign that SF is hoping he makes the team. Checking the SF SBNation board, many of their fans really like him and think he's a good fit for their system. SF doesn't have a lot of backs so it's a great opportunity for Wilson.
  18. Wow. Very surprising. Huge deal for a UDFA.
  19. The shock is that New Orleans paid such a huge price to move up for a defensive end.
  20. Yeah, amazing, uh? I also read o Wikipedia that they've changed the name of the school from North Texas Normal College to North Texas State Normal College. Then again, you can't believe everything you read on Wikipedia.
  21. From the article ... It's been 13 years since the Mean Green had a player picked. Linebacker Cody Spencer was taken in the sixth round in 2004 and went on to have a productive career.
