Perhaps they have not yet put the filling in which would darken the color. As it is I'm not liking the color, either.

1. I wonder if they have the pellets in yet? That would darken it a bit. 2. I think it will look better in person but still not great. 3. My first thought was I would not like the entire field that shade of green. After a few minutes thinking about it, I think it might actually look better if it was. The field would certainly look "cleaner" with a brighter green color. However, I think our uniforms will look much better against he darker green.

In my mind wrestling fans are more die hard. I just wonder if we'll have more people in the stadium at the end of the game than at the beginning.

Not the most in-depth analysis but good to hear.

That's the issue with our offense last season. We would be great for a quarter and then go cold for a quarter. We were inconsistent within games and left our defense out to dry. I chalk a lot of that to how young we were on offense. Hopefully we're more consistent this season.

I commend Tulsa's AD for reducing his own pay for three straight years. Many have been promoting and predicting reorganizing conferences to reduce travel costs. I really don't know how much that would save but it seems even a minimal savings could be a big benefit.

I remember RV saying in an interview that the location of the scoreboard was one of the last decisions made. I believe the decision was between the North or South end zone and they finally decided on the South.

Correct. Title IX as it currently stands is very unfair to men sports. I think a lawsuit from some men would have a good chance of changing the law.
