I believe the negative side is that a semester ends right before the conference championship. I believe La Tech fans have stated they've lost good players to grades before conference championship games and bowl games because of the quarter system. I don't see it being a huge advantage for them.

I agree but every little bit helps and it for some schools it would make a bigger difference than others. I'm not saying that since he's not shaving for his weekly press conference that he will definitely be back. What I am saying is if his goal was to move on to a top program then he would enhance his chances by presenting a better image of himself when facing the media.

Yes, if UTA had to build their arena now it probably would cost more but I wouldn't use that number to estimate a new area for us. The price tag on arena can vary wildly depending on is actually represented in the number. For example, things such as the acquisition of the land and surrounding infrastructure improvements, among other things, can greatly vary the cost of a venue depending on whether they are included or not.

I really hope one of these running backs can come in and be a lead back. We miss WIlson's explosiveness.

It may have been more of a "rest" game than any real issue. We started several backups against IWU and Liberty. It gives backups some playing time and allows a starter to rest from any injury. Unless we hear something else, I expect Young to be starting next game.

That's the kind of offensive consistency we lacked last season.
