After watching our offensive tackles against La Tech, Hamilton should understand he can earn early playing time here.

A major component of a rivalry is playing important games and ripping each other's hearts out (not literally). We are building that with La Tech. SMU will always be a rivalry based on location but we could be building a real rivalry with La Tech.

I was at Toyota Stadium on Friday night for a HS football game. They have the stage area in one end zone with two large jumbo trons on either side. It's a good setup and will work good for us.

Here. You can watch it yourself. However, he shows plenty of emotion on the sideline. Tonight on television you heard him yell at the ref "That's a bull-**it call!" after the holding call on Bussey. Anyone who's watched the BTG episodes knows that Seth shows plenty of emotion on the sideline ... positive and anger.

In his post game press conference Seth said he wasn't going to talk about injuries. The good news is that probably means no one is ruled out for the season ... yet.

I never thought of the extra point being a scoring play even if there's no score. However, it really doesn't matter. The rule in college football is that EVERY play is reviewed. On any play if the replay official thinks it needs a second look then he will stop the game. Therefore, it was reviewed and the replay official let it go ... which was the right call.

Why did it need to be reviewed when they got the call right? It really wasn't that close of a play.

For those at the game apparently the angle you saw made the 2 point conversion look good. However, the television replay clearly shows it was short by a foot or two. If you want to complain about the refs, don't use this play. They got it right. Edit: how does this get downvotes? Geez ... don't kill the messenger.

I think the issue is La Tech is bigger, faster, and stronger. They just over power our blockers.

I think Penn State would trade coaches with us right about now. They just made a horrible call ending their last chance to win.

MTSU was down by 1 under a minute and went for two and the win. They got it.

I'd like the coaches this week to work on a 2 point conversion that actually works. We've done poorly on those this year.
