When people say UTSA has the worst facilities I don't think the emphasis is on the football stadium. Having a dome stadium in San Antonio is great for them. What about their other facilities? Isn't their basketball arena awful?

I thought the lingo was much different. When Veto asked something like "Are you proud how your team bounced back from the loss last week" Seth replied, "I'm proud they won". He was not proud in how they played. He also began by saying the offense was putrid in the first half. I think Seth was very blunt in his comments.

It was kinda weird watching details of the punt return three weeks after the fact. I found myself skipping through the game highlights not wanting to watch those again. Too soon.

That's what I was thinking. We play Oklahoma and ... ??? I guess we're not worried about RPI at all.

The simple way for us to still win the division title is for La Tech to lose two conference games while we win out. However, another scenario requires La Tech only losing once more and other team joining us as one lost teams. A three way tie for the division title could go our way. The obvious candidates to join us and La Tech as one loss teams would be UAB or Southern Miss. The bottom of our division (Rice, UTEP, UTSA) are all down this year it so it's maybe more likely that before. After everything that has happened in the first five weeks (four wins including SMU and Arkansas), punt return, IPF groundbreaking, Joe Greene statue ... this week was going to be slow to matter what happened against La Tech. The fan base can't keep the same hype every week all season and having winless UTEP coming up doesn't help.

I don't believe Canales was a candidate to be head coach when McCarney was fired. I thought that was widely reported.

There are those La Tech fans with the same attitude you describe towards other CUSA teams. Those guys get old really fast.
