Same here. Wonder what the win probability would have been at that moment with La Tech kicking in the bottom of the 3rd already up 2-1.

I wasn't able to watch until about 14 minutes were left in the game and around 12 minutes left we had two one on one's with the goalie and couldn't put either in the net.

USM won the first semifinal game with their second consecutive 1-0 win, this time over #2 FAU.

Great story at the beginning of the show. However, I was a bit worried when it cut to black before the commercial. At about the 24:00 mark there's a sideline conversation between Fine and Littrell which is some great coaching points.

Unfortunately, CUSA decided to wait until AFTER I moved back to Texas before scheduling us to go to ODU.

La Tech falls behind 2-0 early in the second half but come back to win 3-2 in OT. I believe it's the second year in a row La Tech has knocked out the tournament host. UNT did not play La Tech this season.

I missed the first half but I guess UNT woke up because they dominated the ball in the second half. So far UNT and FAU both look to have much better athletes than any other team in conference. FAU didn't play that well in their game but their speed was obvious.

USM upsets UAB 1-0.

FAU beats MTSU 1-2 in OT. It was a fun game to watch as MTSU out played FAU for a good part of the game.

I did a little investigating and found some interesting tidbits ... 1. Heading into this game we had the conference championship already wrapped up. 2. According to the recap, we rested several starters and three girls got their first playing time of the year. 3. If we had defeated ODU we would have played ... ODU ... in our first tourney game. I suppose Hedlund didn't feel a win was worth giving ODU any info for a meaningless game. 4. We play Rice on Halloween at 4:30 PM. Rice was the preseason favorite to win the conference yet they had to defeat Charlotte in their final game to make the tourney. Not sure what happened to them.

This is interesting. Watching his high school tape he looks more like a guard than a tackle. He didn't seem to have the quickest feet in pass protection.

I guess that win over powerhouse App St. was really convincing.
