Chris Davis is the UNT Hall of Famer who's jersey is hanging in the Super Pit. He has a Nike EYBL AAU team and my daughter will be playing for him this spring/summer. Not only is it a great opportunity for my daughter but really cool to have a coach with a UNT connection.

This is a NT Daily article about the WFAA report from last week. There's nothing new from what I can see.

I just watched the two video's in the Andrew's link above and I think correct. The school was forthright and it really involved only three or four people who are being dealt with by the courts. I'm not sure why the assistant coach has avoided legal trouble but there are probably facts not presented in this report. My biggest take is the reporter talks to some kind of "expect" who proclaims this to be a big cover up when she has only see the facts presented by the reporter. I also don't understand why this girl is coming claiming a cover up when the perpetrators are being dealt with by the courts. Perhaps she's upset that no one offered her a book deal?

Except for the fact that some of use didn't have access to that station. "National Broadcast" ... yeah.

Do we win if Fine doesn't get hurt? Maybe, maybe not. Do we win if Fine doesn't start and doesn't return? No. It's why I'm hoping Jason Bean earns the starting position when Fine graduates because his running ability would provide an option not even Quinn can bring.

I remember him making some big plays early in the season. Playing nose tackle limits those opportunities.

Love the 95 yard run by Torrey. 95 is always a good number. On that play we spread the defense out with two receivers to each side. FAU had no deep middle safety and the one safety who could have made a play was following Mason as he rolled away after handing off. The key block was the left guard Woodworth. He got just enough of a hit on the defensive tackle to slow him down and then got to the backside linebacker. That block turned a 5 yard gain into a 95 yard touchdown. Muhammad's tipped-to-himself interception to clinch the game was very impressive.

The radio guys talked about it several times. Perhaps that's just what the coaches told them. Whatever.
