I'm mostly concerned about Ruder's game. 10/21 is bad even with the drops. If it takes him half the season so get going then it might cost Littrell his job. If he continues playing this way in the first half of the SMU game, don't be surprised to see Aune in the second half.

I was only watching, not listening, to the final few minutes. It seemed once La Tech got into long distance field goal position they still had another minute to get closer. Instead, they choose to try the long kick which came up short. Maybe I missed something but it seems their coach got way too conservative at the end and it cost them.

If Ruder had transferred to Clemson or Georgia he might be playing right now. Those quarterbacks look awful.

He's also under thrown most of his deep passes.

I can see them talking but can't see any of those schools going. However, if it did happen then the SEC would become by itself the highest level of college football all on it's own. SEC > FBS > FCS.

He's a little late to the party. The large conferences already run college football.

Jim Wacker was always fun to listen to. I also enjoyed the camera angles at their stadium. It was always higher up than most stadiums so that you could clearly see the blocking angles.

Rick accomplished some good things. He also made multiple program-destroying hires. Rick would have been fine at smaller school but was completely out of place running a major athletic program.

If you want to make the regular season mean something, and I do, then take all the conference champs plus a few at larges. Make winning your conference important.
