cbl- your vile intolerance toward others with differing viewpoints is unconscionable. would it not be easier to present a viewpoint without calling someone a white conservative christian bigot? why not say that my assessment of killings of south africa was caused by: (1) the lack of training that the minority govt gave to the majority govt. or (2) the lack of colalition building between the various cultures that made up the nation state by the minority govt.. that would be easier than to call someone a racist bigot because you disagree with their statements, true or not. personally, you should learn to become a little more tollerent of other's opinions and present a congruent opposite response that is well thought out, as i so have given you in example, instead of getting the "red-eye" of your own version of intolerance and bigotry of, evidently, my demographic classification. cbl, learn to be more tollerent, learn to accept other viewpoints/opinions and learn how to write a scathing rebutal that kills 'em with kindness instead of vile outrage and hate. we will have to continue to disagree on certain aspects of politics & religion but i do like some of your in depth reports on nt and our opponents.

cmj- please look at the syntex of the conjuntion "and" that separates three points: magna carta, constitution and one nation under God. as you know the first ten amendments to the constitution are known as the bill of rights. the first amendment begins with congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. my point is that the constitution was written to protect freedom of religion not the freedom from religion. so the constitution does point to the existence of one nation under God.

ACC #9 is pledged to Congressional but ACC has never had a bowl elgible #9 team. Would ACC pull its Emerald Bowl team and stay close to home with Mobile and Congressional? SEC has its #9 team pledged to Birmingham. So no SEC team for Emerald. And Big 12 and Big 10 have been hard pressed to fill their existing bowl commitmentsk. BE is full. PAC already plays MWC twice in Vegas and Poinsettia bowls. WAC has its top three teams committed to bowls. MAC has its top three teams committed to bowls. So a SBC #1 or #2 is reasonable. Looks like the SBC will pick up a second bowl for sure, either Emerald, Boise, or Mobile...and it will be interesting to see if SEC will really have a bowl elgible #9 team for Birmingham...SBC has opportunities there. The Emerald Bow has the PAC #4/#5. Would you as a BE fan be interested in it? Congress and various sectors of the national govt. (USD/Interior) is forcing another policy of placing alaskan polar bears on the endangered species act making it more difficult for anyone to drill in "PROTECTED" areas. This same type of policy was enacted in oregon about 15 years ago to stop the cutting of trees from various lumber companies by putting the "SPOTTED OWL" on the endangered species list in oregon, washington and northern california. ...........build refineries..........pump oil............lower prices at the pump........if not now, when? when gas prices are 10 bucks a gallon or if congress nationalizes the oil industry which we, as consumers, would have to pay for in ANOTHER" hidden tax? As far as the US becoming a socialist type government.....yep, it is partially here thanks to FDR's New Deal and LBJ's Great Society.....once you place socialized programs in the government they never go away....they only get bigger and eventually we, as americans (or AMERIKA for some of the really right leaning folks) are "forced" to pay for them. The "ONLY" solution (which will NEVER happen) is to rid ourselves of: 1. The IRS 2. Dept's of Education, Welfare, Indian Bureau, Labor ..... and other "BLOATED" federal agencies and hand those responsiblities to the individual state governments. The bigger the government the more tax..... the more tax the more socialized we become. it is kinda like the story of the frog who sat in a increasingly warm bath of water until he was cooked and didn't know it.
