Agreed. Even if these 327 + the 200 with AD aren't sold out its a good turnout given our opponent, time of year, confusion surrounding the bowl we're playing in, covid, etc. I appreciate the updates you're giving.

Fresno’s coach got hired by Washington and their QB is in the portal already (likely returning to Washington, where he began his college career). Rumors of a few more star players hitting portal before the bowl game so UTEP may get a very depleted Fresno team.

I think it would be sweeter if we were their only loss this year. That will bother UTSA way more than if they slide and lose out.

Boise is on a down year. If you ever get a shot to play them on a down year I think you take it. Agree the location is awful, but love what it could do for the common fan/student body.

Carson Strong (QB) to Romeo Doubs (WR) would be very very unfavorable for us - they'll both be playing on Sundays. But, there are rumors that Carson Strong won't be playing in the bowl game given he's a projected 1st rounder. I'm all for the challenge though. The Wolfpack were a fringe top 25 team at many points this season.

Washington. Many know I was born and raised on Fresno St campus (parents were profs there) and the dogs are definitely the other team I root for. I've watched more Bulldog games in my life and in person, but more of my dollars have gone to UNT so they win the tiebreaker here. I'm not sure this is a matchup we (UNT) would want, but losing a head coach can really derail a team during bowl season.

I'd love to play Memphis and think that could be a very competitive matchup. I'll take any bowl game at this point, but MAC teams don't get anyone anywhere excited. UTSA would be getting a very winnable top 25 matchup in BYU.

The correlation is b/t hosts and their typical fan attendance/support. FAU can't (won't) ever fill to capacity like a UCF, Houston, ECU would.

I have to smile that this, like all things, turned into a big political divide. I think their new name does wonders for their branding and marketing. I actually knew Dixie State was in St George (many didn't until recently). In a similar vein, I just learned this week that Jacksonville State isn't in Florida. Names are a big deal!

The supply chain issues of late prove why we must keep China at arms length. Cable news pundits can talk a big game wrt China, and much is warranted, but supply chains are a matter of national security. China knows this, the US knows this, and it's exactly why Washington is only so tough, both sides, with them.

MWC is the strongest G5 with AAC losses to big 12. SBC has recency bias going for them, but please tell me their strongest win OOC. Kansas?? ESPN has created this perception for them. Mwc is .500 against the pac 12 this year with 8 games played. MWC>>new AAC>SBC>MAC
