    My guess is they're wanting to capture as many as possible (up to Sep 10) to announce a number and I'm sure they'd love to announce over a 100% increase. Maybe they're thinking that after people see the first game they'll sign up even more. My guess is around 5k so far. Not nearly enough, some Ws will get some more to buy in.

    It's still there, we played a game against Cameron to start the 2009/10 (IIRC) season due to a robot convention going on @ the Super Pit. It is named Ken Bahnsen gym these days.

    I can't believe how much Denton changed from when I first arrived in 2006 to when I left in 2010. I think more change has happened in 2011 than any other year. So many restaurants/new apartments/new buildings @ UNT (oh ya, Apogee too). I don't know why anyone would chose to go to school out in Lubbock over Denton.

    This is what scares me. It was hard enough getting students to walk 10 feet into the game, imagine now before the pedestrian bridge is built. Luckily we'll have the newness factor on our side this year, winning will obviously cure this.
