I don't think I fully appreciated their halftime show when sitting on the student side (recent grad, first time sitting on alumni side last night). While I think they need more variety for in-game music, the halftime performance was awesome. My brother (UT tshirt alum 04-present) wouldn't stop talking about how impressed he was. He was blown away by everything yesterday and can't wait to come back again. He bought a UNT shirt and hat last night too, our tshirt alumni base grew by one yesterday.

At least they didn't at some places, maybe it's an outside vendors thing? Metzler's was cash only. No complaint there though, best food I've ever had at a footbal concession stand.

Very concerning. Houston supposedly sold 4k. Back that out of our 28k and we're hardly any further ahead than some of our home openers in years past. It seemed like A LOT more than any game I"ve ever been at however, so maybe those old attendance figures were reported higher than they were in reality. The students seem to be buying in, I'm putting the attendance issue on the alumni. And jesus please play more music to get the crowd into it. It seems they figured that out in the 2nd quarter and 3rd, but Apogee was very quiet at times near the start.

Ya, not sure how they had audio issues. I'm hopeful this will be changed in time for Indiana.

I'm actually amazed, I didn't think our students had it in them to take the initiative. Kudos to whoever was in charge with getting the word out to the students that they had to do this.

A body bag game for us would have to be a very low FCS opponent. Where we are right now, we couldn't pummel Texas State 55-7. So then you risk a close game (heaven forbid a L) to an FCS opponent. And of course it makes $en$e, but maybe now with our Apogee naming rights and increased season tickets,donations, student fee etc we can think about it.

Ya, don't like the sounds of the whole ticket thing. We don't need to give our students ANY kind of reason not to come w/ the state of our team. I don't see what the problem w/ student ID swiping was.

I was at the game. My thoughts on Floyd Casey Stadium: Apogee looks even better. If you think Denia isn't that great, you should see the area around that stadium - sheesh. FWIW, my fiance is a Baylor alum. Couldn't pass up the free 50 yd line tickets.

To save a whole lot of time you can have the cliff notes: 1. After the WAC departures it is a weaker/not any stronger of a conference than the Sun Belt 2. WAC schools are even farther away and would increase travel costs 3. Build the Belt
