I just don't know how many working downtown/uptown are UNT alum, and south Dallas has zero UNT alum. I live/work down here but I can't tell you how infrequently I run into UNT alum/see UNT shirts being worn/UNT car decorations in this area. Plus I think we'd struggle with getting that don't live/work here to mess with downtown parking. I just feel Plano & Dallas locations are already en route for those that commute via the Dallas North Tollway, so moving one to those along 75 would be beneficial. Plus 635 traffic is SO bad those 3 miles west on 635 are just brutal.

I went to Dallas location last year and there was a bad turnout then. I feel like the Plano and Dallas caravans are too close geographically. Maybe if it was somewhere near 75 and 635 you could catch our alum in east Dallas and those that live in Richardson/Allen/McKinney on their way home from work.

Yeah....GL2Greatness's beloved Texas State has 2x the revenue we do? Right.

Fiance and I had a great time, the food was great. I loved hearing Benford speak.

I was afraid I'd have some in my group of 7 drop out since 5 of them last year had never been to a UNT football game before. I was pleased when they all renewed and are very excited about the season.

Now I'm even more pissed! Thanks to my incompetent manager I didn't leave the office until 9 last night.

Do Odoh wrong how? Odoh was JJ's player. If a new coach comes in and has other ideas there's nothing wrong there. I'm sure Benford at least watched tape/scouting reports/considered Odoh.

When I first moved back to the US in 2006 it was around the price that it is now. It shot down RAPIDLY around 2008 and started creeping back up again last year. The grocery stores were losing their shirts on it for a while/my farmer uncle in Wisconsin said inputs around that time were creeping down as well.

Had we gone to the WAC or had NMSU stayed in the Belt the result would have been the same. This was about markets and commitment to athletics. I'm glad we didn't have to have the worry of being in the WAC and seeing a conference crumbling beneath us; however, had we gone to the WAC years ago we might have had our commitment to athletics and student support even sooner and had the chance to play amongst some BCS busting programs (Fresno, Boise, Nevada, Hawaii) the past few years instead of remaining in the Belt. We would have had to have done extremely well to have got the nod over SMU for the Big East and still would have ended up where we are today most likely.

Indiana was my first win as well. Students now should be stoked, I wish we saw more on GMG.

Ya, he's a peach. I had a PM conversation one time to figure out why his grapes are so sour. I don't really understand it. He's bounced around to 3-4 different universities in Texas, UNT being one of them. If you're bouncing around that much, maybe you need to look into the mirror. He's obsessed with university academics on athletic sports boards. I believe he posts as GL2Greatness on GMG.
