  1. Oh, they'll be little Mean Green Eagles for sure. I'm already planning a Mean Joe Green fathead for the nursery to watch over them.
  2. I know, right? 2nd photo wasn't really necessary, you can see Scrappy better in the first.
  3. If we really do open with Idaho next year that's two very winnable OOC home games.
  4. Finally getting around to posting this, got married 3 months ago today. My wife found someone online that custom made a Scrappy out of clay (matching suit and tie to boot). The Mrs. is a Baylor alum, hence the bear. I wanted a mean Scrappy but that was her one veto. How I knew she was the one: 1. She comes with me to every UNT game, event, etc and actually enjoys it. 2. She loves Denton. 3. She wears her UNT clothing more often than her Baylor gear.
  5. We're finally wearing the most green we ever have, let's just stick with that. We try green outs all the time and it sort of fails since 1/3 of the place is empty
  6. Who says they're up? Being real, alumni attendance was poor last night.
  7. Thanks, 3 months ago today. I still need to post the pictures of the Scrappy wedding cake topper I had custom made.
  8. My wife would like to know what happened to the Dippin' Dots. She's a Baylor alum and enjoys coming, but I think half of that was so she could get those.
  9. There were plenty of students adorned with much crazier gear/body paint than that. I vote for selecting a hot girl next time, just to see her shake it.
  10. But since what's done is done why not paint the bleachers in the wing zone green? It would honestly look better that way and it won't feel so empty.
  11. I'd rather have seen a more impressive two tier setup on the student side, lower bowl only in endzone, jumbotron where the wing is, and the whole stadium shifted over to the AC.
  12. Took my parents to their first UNT game tonight. My parents are both retired professors and have both taught at over 10 universities across the US so they've seen their share of college football games. My dad said it was by far the best marching band performance he's seen at a college game before, couldn't stop talking about it.
  13. I wasn't impressed. I loved the GB's halftime performance!
  14. We had 2k more in attendance than "Dallas's team".
  15. I've never been a fan oh his, he's really bad with names.
  16. How can you say that? Attendance has been increasing year over year. Obviously it's not old ass alumni coming back to the program. I'm a product of the freaking Todd Dodge era and have season tickets with 7 others from 2010/2011. We're not going to put 30k in there for a while, but as long as our current student turnout keeps increasing and we can add more season ticket holders than are dying off (which we are), we'll be fine. Wait until we play relevant, regional opponents.
  17. Tonight he wasn't the best QB we could've put out there, this is the DT I remember. I'm not sure what happened with that Troy game last year where he looked so good.
  18. Yes but SIU is a good FCS team and EMU is a bad FBS team. I'd be more afraid if we were playing App St
  19. 20k - less than that and I'll be extremely disappointed.
  20. Y'all accountants or what? I worked until midnight or 1am everyday this past week so I could make it today.
  21. Campus bookstore has a ton of the decals, Voertman's has some but not as many IIRC. After years of searching I was pleased to find a chrome (plastic obv) SOW only car badge @ Voertman's a few weeks ago.I know it had been discussed on GMG by many that they wanted one with just SOW.
  22. I hope he works out for us, that's all I'll say at this point.
  23. Tulane must be inflated, unless Rutgers travelled 20k.
