Dr. Paul Hutchison went to tech for phd. Lightner was not a techie, she just taught there before UNT. She's a sooner. Clay is gone. Dr. Robertson went to UK. A lot of slap dick tech acct undergrads come to UNT for acct MS because they can't hack it out there anymore/their MS acct is really selective.

I saw Jae Crowder at the CVS up the street last week buying a 24 pack of miller lite, FWIW.

About mother f'ing time Fresno takes down the donks. I really, really doubted the dogs on that last defensive stand as they couldn't stop them to save their life in the 2nd half. Fresno is very fortunate that their OOC this year is relatively soft and the MWC appears to be down. I'm not ready to put them in a BCS bowl yet, I think whoever they face in the MWC championship game has a great chance to knock them off. Kudos to Derek dedicating that W to his big bro. I still remember that game when they lost - that really ignited Boise's rise to power. Born and raised a bulldog for those that don't know.

While at UNT I also came down with a relapse of mono (I swear I'm healthy) but this time I had private insurance. I became very ill, to the point I thought Dr. House would have to cure me. After days of high fever and fainting I go into the ER. I spend 3 days in Denton Regional. All that's given to me is bags of IV fluid. The insurance company was billed over $14,000 for this.

So last summer I got food poisoning, violently. I was dry heaving for hours and from previous experience knew there was a shot I could get to make this stop. I go into Baylor Uptown and tell them I need this shot. They say I was most likely dehydrated, which was likely, so I agreed to have one bag of IV fluids dumped into me. I come out an hour later and go home. A month later I get a bill for $1,800. ONE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS. I'm a healthy, active 27 year old so naturally I have a HDHP. I got to eat all of that. Guess what? I had this EXACT same shot while at UNT, that's how I knew it existed. At UNT I did not buy the supplemental insurance and I actually did not have private insurance either - I was rolling the dice. I was billed $20. One bag of IV was the only difference, that does not cost $1,780.

It's a day game, the greater rain chance is Sat evening.

When I was a kid I was a massive, fanatical football fan. But, there's NO way I was going to give up trick-or-treating with friends for it. It's next to xmas for a kid in terms of kick-ass holidays.

I really don't think you're going to be able to sell families on this. I'd rather see effort on the students whose parties are all LATER so they could go to the game thats earlier.
