There's a forum where we allow politics, and a thread where we require most of it to go. This isn't that forum, and this isn't that thread. Lots of rules get waived, ignored, or overlooked sometimes. I got to watch him for a year and a half in a North Texas jersey. Nobody can take that away. Not even Tony, even if he regrets coming here. It happened, and nobody can erase it. But pointing to rings as a way of calling him the definitive greatest is ridiculous without appreciating context. Because if Michael Jordan or LeBron played any seasons against 7 other teams that looked like the Washington Generals... They would have a hell of a lot more championships, too.
