  1. Don't forget The Flying Fin
  2. Just keep plugging at it, and you'll hit the target eventually. I believe in you! Good things are going to happen in your attempt to fill RV's basket with floppy cocks!!
  3. Don't let the naysayers get you down, friend. I support you!
  4. GOOD THINGS ARE HAPPENING FOR NATIONAL AWARENESS OF THE UNDEAD!!!
  5. See? This is just one more piece of evidence that my judgment is sound and my verdicts are fair. This is why I was appointed the moderator for... Wait, nevermind.
  6. Buzz is still and forever will remain a piece of garbage in my eyes. The man could singlehandedly rebuild the city of New Orleans with his bare hands, and I'd still think he was a jackass.
  7. Can we? No. Will we? Also no.
  8. And if you teach that class, ...
  9. Neither of us is ever truly happy. We're both empty inside.
  10. You just need more incorrect punctuation and maybe a few ellipses. Then your positivity won't be a problem.
  11. Speaking of chills, bad things are happening for Metroplex roadways due to a combination of low temperatures and precipitation. Be careful driving home, everyone.
  12. Oh please... There's only one organ from any under-25 year old affiliated with North Texas that you want in your body, and we all know you're never getting it. I think that was specific enough to make my point without being so graphic that I'll be banned.
  13. I just meant in reference to the "Who cares, you're 18" thing. We all hate young people, either because we're jealous of their youth and proximity to potential intercourse with young women, or because we're scared that they're crack-smoking rap-loving hoodlums who are up to mailbox smashing, graffiti painting mischief. But we have to keep those thoughts to ourselves. Try to remember that kids are people, just like you and me. Except they're dumber, and their skin is more elastic. Group hug, everyone!
  14. Good things are happening for Art Briles. Exclamation point.
  15. We've always been very honest with ourselves about how crappy the old site was and how limited our appeal was. But when we unleash the new Blog-O-Tron 2000, well... You'll probably all just shrug your shoulders and go on with your lives. But maybe, just maybe, we can actually expand our range. And if not, at least it won't be that terrible, terrible Blogger standard layout.
  16. This may not be the best way to build the fan base. The Clint Eastwood "get off my lawn!" approach to younger types isn't always endearing.
  17. I'm sick of your damn constant positivity! CAN'T YOU SEE YOU'RE KILLING THIS PROGRAM!?!!?!??!?!?!ELEVENELEVEN!? These are great times and nothing but sunshine fun times are on the horizon. If you can't see past your own joy and encouragement to appreciate it, then you deserve to be beaten with a pipe until your bones are naught but powder! GOOOO MEAN GREEEEEEEEEEEEEEN!!!
  18. Here's something that might save your job: If/when you get fired, we'd love to do an interview for the new TY Sports. Share the details of the termination, or whatever else is on your mind. Of course, if you're still working for the team, that would be inappropriate. That should change the decision-making calculus a little bit.
  19. I'm very, very relieved about two things I that worried me during this offseason: 1) Several players who I had all but written off as gone have apparently been convinced to stick around. I haven't totally exhaled in relief; we lost Peachey and Banks later than this in the offseason. And even if nobody else goes, the losses of Vizza and Scoggins still equate to a tremendous kick in the crotch on their own. Still, the exodus wasn't as bad as anticipated, so hooray for that. 2) We managed to address D-Line issues to the greatest extent possible. Until a week ago, it looked like we were going to enter the 2009 season even more unsettled than we were at the start of 2008. As long as Atkinson doesn't back out on us on signing day, I feel a lot better about the state of the D-Line now.
  20. Can we? Yes. Will we? No. Carry on, everyone.
  21. Exactly. I share your outrage.
  22. I hope we get it in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
  23. Patience, patience. It's coming.
  24. Before any of the "We need Men's Soccer first!" people chime in and start complaining that we're not giving equal consideration... I've got a Sam's Club membership to buy Capri Sun juice packs and I've been working on my orance slice cutting skills. Soccer fans can rest assured that we now have a viable coaching candidate for them, too- and one with North Texas ties: Me. In all seriousness, thanks for this post, Charlie. Good to know that once the financials make sense, the interest is there for potential coaches.
