What was the old cartoon where the animated bears would bounce around on their asses everywhere they went? Anyone remember? It's bothering me that I can't figure this out.

I'll be there whenever oldguystudent can make it. I'm free all day, he has to work, so I was just going to roll with his schedule. If he's in at 3:00, I'll be there then, too. Should time out perfectly to get set up, cook, eat, and clean up without missing too much of the first game. I'll have hamburgers for 8, some chips, water... the usual stuff I bring to every tailgate, because I don't know how to cook and grilling burgers is pretty much the most sophisticated food preparation I can handle.

Don't forget to come early this Saturday. We'll start cooking early enough that you can catch both games. And we may have some UALR fans stopping by to say hello and mooch. I'll still be happy even if nobody but oldguystudent and me shows up. But I'm hoping the turnout will be a little higher than that.

Someone should really write down those unwritten rules somewhere. I get confused easily.

Can we? Yes. Will we? Remains to be seen. The only 4 game winning streak I'm really praying for is the one that starts on March 4th. I want as many as we can get in the meantime, but if we've got a 4 game finishing streak in us... THAT'S the one I want.

Josh White. The guy is playing a support role and smiling every second of the way. When a potential star can sacrifice his personal stats for the good of the team... That's a valuable guy. I have a second vote in the house for Mangrum. Rationale is that"he seems like a cool kid, I don't know, I just like him". She's seen more games than I have this year, so don't undervalue the analysis.

I actually really dig the band and in particular the dry wit of the director during games. My father is a big fan, too. Fly Like An Eagle... I was a vocal detractor a few years back, but I've come around. I still hate the actual song, but I like our use and interpretation of it.

Maybe all the coaches can come out and strangle SilverEagle?

He praised him briefly in the thread about our home opener. Said he's excited to see what a real college coach does coaching our D-Linemen and the matchup against an Ohio team with 3 new starting O-Linemen is a good test.

Can we? Yes. Will we? No. ------ With that out of the way, I'll just say that while I want to see us win as many games as possible (I'm still hoping that with Tournament wins, we can hit the 20 win mark again), obviously I've given up any hope of a round one bye. If we get through this stretch at 5-2, that should put us in line for a 6 seed and probably the best route through the SBC Tournament we can possibly hope for.

Seconded. If this was a newspaper article, then yeah. But for a blog entry, there's nothing wrong with mentioning it the way that Phillips did.
