Board Upgrades Coming In The Next 2-3 Days
TheTastyGreek replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
I predict a multimodal distribution of approval/disapproval with minimal cross-polar overlap. -
7 minutes left, still a 7 point lead. Also, ULL up 12 on Troy at the Cajundome at the half. And ULM vs. UNO is a barnburner... 21-13 halftime score favors the Warhawks.

USA/Denver on Channelsurfing.net here.
-
The judges also would have accepted "Our Hearts are Open Graves" for a slightly higher composite score (due to degree of difficulty).

I had seen Alzee getting a shoulder injury worked on back before the UTA game... Sounds like a lingering thing. Thomas, could be something still bothering him with his thigh. Vito says they were both suspended, but only for one game. I'm not going to lie... I was very worried when I heard they were on the bench and Matlock was playing first half minutes (more time on the floor than Mangrum and Spencer!). Given that this was the first game of the academic semester and how important the game/tough the opponent was... My immediate thought was that this had something to do with academics.

I don't know if that's true... I know Egenti has been sitting for many if not most of the warmups I've seen. I looked him up earlier in the season; apparently, he played on a pretty decent Northlake team. It's always nice to get a walk-on with size, and it seems like he may have enough talent to actually contribute a little bit. I'd be curious to know if he's being redshirted.

Depends... Would Hall be satisfied with 2 minutes of opportunity?

Is J'mison Morgan A Possible Future Recruit?
TheTastyGreek replied to ADLER's topic in Mean Green Basketball
J'Mison Morgan out 2-3 weeks with a torn quadriceps. Tough break for a guy who's college career is already not going according to plan. Hope he gets well soon. -
We're also one game out of 3rd and a 1st round bye. Who the heck knows how this thing is going to shake out by the time everyone goes to Hot Springs...

A guy can dream, but Women are like Career Military. They're never satisfied and they're always after the next promotion. If you're dating, then they want to be exclusive, and then being your girlfriend isn't as good as being your fiance, or living together, or getting married, or owning a house, or having kids, or whatever else they can do to work their way up the system. Not all of them are on the exact same career track, but they're all always gunning for that next promotion. They're never happy with where they are on the pyramid for more than 5 seconds. And just like facing off against the military... Eventually, you've just gotta give up and surrender. Because whether it's surrender or death, nobody in Bachelor Nation who ever engages in the war ever gets out clean. You just have to try and make sure you surrender to an enemy that doesn't torture prisoners. At this point in my life and the relationship cycle... The sad fact is, I've got MAYBE 3 to 6 months before she beats me into submission, gets the ring, and has my sorry ass shuffling up and down the aisles of Bed Bath and Beyond, right behind you and your wife. Ultimately... I blame you. You ruined both of our lives when you let yours move in to the old apartment. As soon as she came through the door... Towing a pet poodle, moving furniture around, putting candles out everywhere... We were both doomed. You let the enemy through the gates, buddy. Once the walls were breached, the siege was on. Don't cry for me. I'm already dead.

Denver loses at ULL, 55-49
-
FIU wins at Middle, MTSU drops below .500. USA down by 19 points with 4:20 to go at ULM. ULL up 6 with 30 seconds to go against Denver.
-
Heck of an effort, heck of a game, and what a nice win on the road against the 1st place team in the East. Smiles all around for a day or two.
-
Again... Quick trigger on that game for ESPN. I think they put a Troy basket on the wrong team. It's been fixed.
-
They have a very good live update going on at ESPN. If you're listening online, the internet feed is 8-10 seconds behind the direct radio feed. Figured that out at halftime when I came in from the car and re-heard the last 8 seconds of the 1st half. That's why it seems like ESPN is ahead of the actual game.
-
Also... WKU is only up 2 at home against FAU with 11 to play. 56-54.
-
You still have a valid point about not dropping games to inferior competition. Just a conference score update, not an argument It is still very early in conference play, though.
-
FIU up 14 on MTSU at Middle in the second half. Denver doing absolutely nothing at ULL- 17 halftime points and now down 41-20 with 13 minutes left in the game. Monroe up 6 over USA with a lot of time left in the 2nd

I'll throw the name I mentioned throughout the season out there again: Chris Thomsen at ACU. He'd be giving up stability and security, but then again he's already been looking for a new job since his breakthrough year a few seasons back. He may think that even in the worst case, we may need an interim coach for a few games that could be his audition for the 1-AA HC job he hasn't been able to land yet or an OC job elsewhere in D-1.
-
Or, Dodge could give the OC title to Gandy (since Gandy is the ST coordinator and an offensive position coach), continue to handle the playcalling himself, and then hire Russell as the new ST coordinator to replace Gandy. Gandy gets a promotion and gets to continue focusing on his talent for recruiting. Dodge gets to keep his hand on the reigns of the offense. Russell gets to come home and continue developing the special teams.
-
Also, Tech hiring the offensive coordinator away from a conference mate could have an impact on the competitive situation in our conference. A lot of stuff gets put here that doesn't belong, but this thread is very relevant to UNT Football.

I really, really hate getting involved in these, but the word stickler in me can't help it... The attackers, in the most appropriate sense of the word, would have to be tried in a sieve or an hourglass. You're talking about the people we're prosecuting for planning the attacks. Don't assume anything about my politics... Just saying that all the people who actually carried out the attack are dead.
