  1. +1 As always, thanks for your insights. Saw your comment in the Connor Lammert thread... I was shocked that Phil Forte got an offer from Kansas. Any thoughts on that one?
  2. It should be the conference patch... Pretty sure there's a rule that says it has to be on there; one of the more legit reasons to get upset about Black Jersey-gate. Beyond the unique logos, there's a generic one for each conference that conforms to the NCAA style.
  3. We're so far past screwed that we're Scrooged. And like Bill Murray, we're going to have to learn some hard, painful lessons before this is all over.
  4. USA! USA! USA! Suck it, China. No more debt for you! BOOM!
  5. Here's Overlander's highlight reel from his AAU team (Texas Assault; plays with the FM Marcus triplets: Smart/Forte/Banyard). Looks like he can move with the ball, drive, and score from the 3 point line. And his reel calls him a Small Forward... He seems to realize that his potential D1 college future isn't in the paint. Mgfan: Before we put up a thread on him in the recruiting forum, take another look at the photos on his Rivals and Facebook page. If you're pretty sure that's the guy you saw, please confirm.
  6. I wouldn't overanalyze it. He's a 6'5" kid playing for a 3-A school that's 92% white and 7% hispanic. Ollie from "Hoosiers" would probably line up as a 4 for them. If he's got post moves and can play physical defense, that's a bonus... Assuming he's also got the skills to play on the perimeter. And if JJ is taking the time to chat him up on a visit, then he's probably got something going for him. UALR has a guy coming in that's 6'10", but played point guard until he was a sophomore in high school. Had an explosive growth spurt, so now he's a center who can pass and handle the ball like a 1. I have a feeling we're going to get a painful lesson in the value of an oddball skill set when we play them.
  7. Was it this guy? http://rivals.yahoo.com/northtexas/basketball/recruiting/player-Clarke-Overlander-119448
  8. I'd hit it. If I were in pads and shells, of course. Safety first.
  9. Love your outfit, Sarge! The jersey says "Let's have lunch!", but the culottes say "You're paying!"
  10. Looks better along with the pants, instead of the photo in the other thread.
  11. Makes everything sexier.
  12. Another tragic victim of a locked gate. When will we finally learn??
  13. It's 9 letters and a checkmark away from being Dickey's Last Stand.
  14. It hasn't? It's one thing to look around and correctly state that we aren't selling the place out... But I think attendance is much better than it was before the 20+ win streak.
  15. Did you see the season premiere of "Breaking Bad"? :ninjaboxcutter:
  16. Not likely... I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm camped out in the #unt***tape thread, waiting for an opening to slip in a new joke.
  17. You just aren't very good at thinking outside the box in situations like this. Concentrate, breathe deeply and steadily. If it helps, try to think about baseball.
  18. I don't know that I'd call it a "party"... Looks more like a great big mess. Definitely a sticky situation, to say the least.
  19. That's what gets me, is seeing everyone rush to gang up on her.
  20. They durk our wave! This is the greatest outrage since the 7th Inning Siesta!
  21. Fine work on Singled Out, but less captivating on the big screen and definitely has some weird thoughts on autism.
  22. The 10% of all upper 48% that believe it are shouldering 99% of the belief burden and if current wave trends continue then by the year 2025 our children's grandchildren's neighbors will be too impoverished to even stand, much less raise their arms, unless of course they have a jack-booted chinaman sticking a bayonet in their back. If you know your ecunawmics and your historee, the facts are quite clear.

  24. Take video. Eh... It's less embarrassing than "Lock the Gate". There's a tape that should only have been enjoyed privately by the consenting adults who made it.
