HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Tasty CBL CMJ MeanGreenTexan chimes in again with complete and fullproof ignorance. I must also add, watching you get all pissed off in the forum is pretty hilarious AND totally made my day!!! I miss this bit. Time for a comeback? -

Remind me, the next time I see your wife, to scream continuously at her stomach. I am going to do my part to make sure your kids are motivated not to be late for their first day of school. It takes a village. -
Week 1: Be glad football season is here again Week 2: Celebrate the first ever game at Apogee Week 3: Be grateful that none of us has to live in Alabama Week 4: Holy crap, is that a Big 10 team playing us at home? And man, this stadium is still pretty sweet! Week 5: Hope that TulsaFaninTexas makes a comeback. Week 6: Hey, a game we actually have a reasonable shot at winning! And this stadium is so awesome, Captain Kangaroo rose from the dead to see it! Week 7: Last day before basketball practice can officially begin! WINNING!!!! Week 8-12: Enjoy parking lot picnics and fancy new seats for a few hours each Saturday, spend every other waking moment obsessing over basketball. It's a script that works for me.

This is helpful news. I recently inherited a bare cupboard, and I think the knee braces would fill that empty space nicely. When my wife suggests tableware... I will of course say: "WHY NOT KNEE BRACES", and end the sentence with a question mark AND exclamation point, simultaneously. -
I think one of them played against starters, overthrew some balls, and had some drops. Completed 50% of his passes for 5 yards per attempt. The other came in against some backups who were playing out the clock with a big lead, overthrew some balls, had a drop or two. Completed 1 more than 50% of his passes for just under 5 yards per attempt. Whatever made the coaches decide to give Thompson the job... I don't think Osborn took it away from him tonight.

I am very sick and very annoyed. I didn't intend to have to clean up the board, but Harry is in Miami. I'm high on Advil Cold & Sinus, and I'm gathering scalps. Even CBL got a vacation tonight. Behave yourselves and follow the rules.
-
Even if you're reprimanding someone that's behaving like a jerk... This is a pretty egregious personal attack. Eugene Debs wouldn't approve. Something to consider while on posting vacation.
-
Wrong. Multiple or repeated posting to pad a post count or just to be obnoxious is not acceptable. There's no need to start two threads on the same topic. People can be upset with the coaching or the results, so long as they obey the forum rules in voicing their displeasure. But nobody will be allowed to start 2 or 3 or more threads on the same subject within mere minutes of each other. This will not be tolerated this year.

Our Vegan Cafeteria gets some pub
TheTastyGreek replied to NorthTexan95's topic in Mean Green Football
He's a P.C. thug, and he doesn't understand good old fashioned Red State family values. Somewhere, right now, Fred Thompson is getting an avocado facial scrub and munching on couscous, plotting the liberal elite takeover of our Once Proud Nation. I heard that he got his Purple Heart for breastfeeding commie Vietnamese babies so that 40 years later, they could campaign for gay marriage and stem cell research. Ninjaface. -

Whatever. He's a typical Hollywood limousine liberal elitist, eager to nanny-state us proud, Ovaltine-drinking middle americans into poverty. Just to save a few stupid owls. EBONICS. -
A month is ambitious, but I'm definitely in for a week.

Not saying that it was connected to TD, just throwing it into consideration for most damaging "seemed reasonable at the time" idea in North Texas history.
-
Leaving the MVC didn't do us any favors, either.

This sort of thing is the ultimate dilemma. Watching the game makes you a better future father, but going to class makes you a better future husband. I have no idea how to grade out the decision process for this.

C. Jones Patton Franklin Mitchell Hogans All of a sudden, we're not such a young team anymore. There would still be growing pains, but 3 of those 5 have D1 experience, and Tony Mitchell is Tony Mitchell. Could be interesting.

He was their leading scorer and rebounder. 40% from the field, just over 25% from outside the 3 point line (only 59 attempts). 6'7" tall, 200 pounds. All-conference SWAC last year. Looks like he could be a day one starter, even with all the talent already on board.
-
He seems to be pretty friendly with Kedrick and Trey Norris... Norris especially. Welcome to North Texas, Justin. Hopefully you'll be playing some ball for us this year.

Graduated high school in 2008. Did a few years at a JUCO (redshirted there, too?) and one year at Grambling. Grambling got hit with an APR penalty postseason ban. It's not unheard of for guys, even those without enough eligibility left to sit a year, to get a transfer waiver in these situations. USC footballers got a blanket no-sit transfer waiver back in 2010. His twitter says he hit town on the 19th, got to campus on the 20th, did orientation on the 24th, and he's going to class right now. There has to be a reason it isn't announced yet, but this looks pretty promising.

Yes, at least 2 and maybe as many as 6.

2012 HS - Valentine Izundu - 6'10" C (Houston)
TheTastyGreek replied to TheTastyGreek's topic in UNT Basketball Recruiting
Have you seen him anywhere, Cooley? If you have... How does he look on defense when he's not blocking shots? Solid across the board, or is he giving up easy post points when he's not swatting them away? -

He finally has a Rivals page - 3 stars. I'll update further soon. -
Mean Green Club Tops 1,000 Members
TheTastyGreek replied to ColoradoEagle's topic in Mean Green Football
UALR fans actually wore, out in public, shirts that advertised their involvement in what they called the "Tip-In Club". I'll never forget those...
