During the Bowl Era, as it was referred to on Beyond the Green, the NORTH...TEXAS chant was always my favorite. Nothing better than when it is done loudly by a good crowd! I've been telling my little brother, who is now an alum as well, about it for years but he had never really got to hear a good one...tonight we got a good one going! Great crowd, and if we continue to win games, ESPECIALLY a couple on the road, home games are going to be really fun if we get a few that matter towards the end of the season. Remember the New Mexico St. games? Can you imagine how much louder a crowd like that will sound in Apogee? CAN''T WAIT FOR AN IMPORTANT LATE SEASON GAME AT APOGEE...ITS COMING SOON!!!

Beat ECU tonight...might be better than everyone thought. Still should have beat them, but may not have been as ugly a loss as we thought

Now that I've had a little while to calm down and think about the excruciating loss... 1) Tulane is better than the automatic win I thought they were in the preseason...how much better are they? I don't know. Should we have beat them? Yes, but they could win a good amount of games this year. I thought in the preseason they might win 3-4 2) We can still get to 6 wins...UTEP, UTSA, So. Miss, La. Tech are all very winnable games, but so are games against Tulsa, Rice, and MTSU, that weren't supposed be available to us in the preseason. 3) As much as I wanted Tulane as a win, every season has games that we lose and thought we should have won, but also games we win that we had penciled as a loss in the preseason. 4) I'm not as fired up as I was a week ago, but I still realize that there are still a BUNCH of winnable games out there, and can get fire cup pretty damn quick with a win next week. 5) Final point, we lose next week, and things could get real tough...both from a fan point, but also for the team from a morale point We'll see...go MEAN GREEN!!!

If we win...I'm pretty sure we get to a Bowl If we lose...we may only win 4-5

Was there a Beyond the Green this week? My DVR didn't pick one up. I normally get them on Fridays

Just projected numbers based on what he has done so far, but that is what DT projects after 3 weeks

Ok...I can watch ESPN3 from my laptop, but cannot stream a game from any other ESPN network...I have Direct TV, and just checked...I guess initially I had little operator error

In looking at the stats from yesterday's game, I read where we turned the ball over twice. I of course remember McNulty's pick, but I can't remember the second turnover for the life of me...can someone jog my memory?

I thought the offensive gameplan was awesome

One thing I wasn't able to see from the stands that I noticed in the highlights, was how often you see Thompson stepping into his throws as opposed to throwing off his back foot, which has always been my biggest complaint with him. Great to see Thompson playing well

I have also been a very vocal critic of DT and want to say I was very impressed w/ his performance. I really want to see consistency from him week to week...then I wil eat the whole crow
