This is the first time I have seen Dickey sound shaken. Normally he plays off big losses like this, and moves on. These quotes from DD scare me more than the loss. I am not used to seeing DD rattled.

In prder to be successful at all running the ball, you have to throw the ball a little bit. We hardly ever even tried to throw the ball when we were in it, or even close to being in it. I don't even have usually have a problem with the play calling, but you have to throw the ball a little. Just to make them think you might do it. Tonight DD and crew didn;t even let them think for one second we might throw the ball. It was a no go situation

I havce never seen so many unsportsmanlike conduct penalties happen to one team ever. This is like a trend of DD teams, they arte just poorly coached in this aspect. I am a DD supportrer, and I still notice this, We give up too much yardage on these stupid penalties. WHEN THE HELL IS THIS GOING TO CHANGE?

Is there not a competition for QB anymore? From everything I have heard, and especially the DD press conference, it sounds like Meager is the guy at QB. He said he wanted to get the other guys some time, in case something happened, but kind of hinted that they would only play if the opportunity presented itself. Seems to me like that means blow out one way or the other. Close game slook to be Meager's as long as he stays healthy. This is good if it is the case. I HATE platooning QB's. It is not good for anyone. Thoughts?

Getting into a rhythm for DL is not that important. Being able to keep fresh is HUGE in rushing the passer.

Yes, he did have surgery in the spring. Nothing major is what I heard though. He will played well, like a young freshman. The key is that he didn't make mistakes, game changing ones that is. That was HUGE for his confidence, and for his teammates to see. The win in that situation and the line he put up during the game will go a long way. Playing a little hurt will also go a long way with himself and the players.
