I want to think he was ineligible, but I don't know. Was he a rotation guy in '05. If so, why is getting so many rave reviews this year. Stronger, more time in the system, not injured, WHAT!?!?!?!

They spoke of a sprain last year at this time with Early. I hope it is just that, a sprain.

Does every Sunbelt team make the conferene tournament? I do not follow basketball near as much as I follow basketball, but before the losing streak, I satarted keeping up with the basketball team. I just wanted to know if regardless of how we finish the regular season, if we could still play in the conference tournament.

I do not think the the NFL isn't a place for Cobbs. I think he can do some things that could make a solid #2 in the NFL. I atleast think he is worthy of a look if nothing else.

I can not believe Cobbs at lteast didn't get an invite. It will be hard to see Cobbs get drafted. I hope someone picks him up as a rookie free agent. Whoever picks him up, if they do, will be one of my new favorite teams.

The reason is because look back at all of the players that are no longer with us. It happens to every school, you just do not keep everyone you sign, and of the ones you do sign, quite a few end up not panning out and never play to their "potential".

AMEN! This statement could get a man beat down these days. I have heard garbage about who this is out time to beat Texas since they will be playing with a freshman QB. Forget the fact that they lose like maybe 5 of their 22 starters. This board needs to have realistic expectaions, like the ones stated by Illuvius. With that being said, bring on the low expectations, and the we will never win the National Championship with that attitude people. I especially like those that think it is no stretch of the imagination for us to be playing in the extra BCS Bowl "made for mid-majors". I really get a good hearty belly laugh out of those people. Who was that guy, maybe he was one of the best coaches to walk the sidelines in many peoples opinion, he said something, "YOU ARE WHAT YOU ARE!"

I heard from a person I feel reliable that he DID NOT lose the weight, he is just learning how to play with it through "better conditioning" JT is not to be relied upon until he can prove to stay healthy. Even his GREAT freshman year was plagued off and on with that damn hammy! I hope he is healthy, because I feel if healthy he will be true graetness, and our first big time NFL player in a long time. I know we have Kassell, and I know he starts, but he does not fall into the big time category, and Brian Waters is big time, but it has been a while since his NT days.

They (recruits) are not stupid. If DD went into some kids house and said, "Hey (top recruit) if you come to NT you could help us win a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, you could help put NT in a BCS bowl!" They would absolutly laugh his butt right out of the living room. Some of you must get some reality in your daily diets. Eat more carrots or something.
