I hate the Pats as well, that is why I am glad that after a couple more games like the one Cobbs played the other night he will be playing for someone else, and CONTRIBUTING regularly. There are a lot of teams taking note right, and after a couple more stellar games, Cobbs will be a 3rd down back for someone. Go team COBBS!

I voted for whoever plays QB, but J-Mo needs to prove to everyone, including myself, that he can be injury free for an entire season, and can be the back we saw his freshman year. I think that he has extra motivation in the fact that I am sure NFL scouts want to see him put 2 HEALTHY and DOMINANT years together. It is similar in my opinion to player playing in a contract year.

Tennessee has 3 solid backs in Chris Brown, Travis Henry, & LenDale White. That is unless there have been some injuries recently that I haven't heard about. The Jets however would seem to be a very logical place as it stands right now. It would be interesting if the Pats would let that happen though. Same division and all.

They, the radio guys, think very high of him, but said, "he is probably auditioning for other teams," due to the crowded backfield in NE. They think that he is doing a hell of a job at doing that though, and think that he has a chance in this league.

What players? I have gotten the feeling that ex-players have had nothing but good things to say about their time with DD and NT.

This is not good in my opinion. I don't think he can play at 225 this season, and it will be hard for him to get to the weight he will need to get back to inorder to contribute this year. NOT GOOD! I like the dedication to drop some weight, but couldn't someone talk to him and say Whoa! Slow down there buddy, take it easy on the weight loss you are not playing HB

I thought this quote was interesting with our OOC record, coupled with what many of you see as our coaching staff not trying as hard in those games. Yes, that is your coach with that comment, one Darrell Dickey.

For us not to be a team to be scared of, and for everyone to be picking at the bottom of the Belt, they sure seem to think that we will determine alot for other teams. I wonder why that is??? North Texas is still the team to beat!

Enough said in my opinion. I know we are alle pissed about losing a guy like Gilmore, but this time the blame should not be laid at the feet of the coaching staff/athletic dept.

The guard/tackle trend is going on all over. This is usually a trait of the now very popular spread offense. NT I think is doing it out of necesity, it is what they have. Usually in an offense like the one we run, you would use a line more like the one you were talking about, tackles bigger than guards.

I like how parts of that article make it sound like Texas is the bad guy, Coach Brown was giving him the "runaround". The dumbass got caught with 4lbs of pot, that could be the reason they don't want you, or maybe it has to do with the handful of other arrests. I am tired of the bad kids never getting a fair shake. I have had (2) challenged plays against me, booth review, and Fl Atl. Has anyone figured out how to challenge plays with the team you are playing with???

I wish a few more of the road games would be televised for my own personal reasons. I go to 1-2 road games a year, but the rest I am with Georgio on the radio.
