I saw Greer play in the Spring Game...he wasn't this bad... He is a D1 QB... We play SMU in a week...in what could be one of our biggest crowds ever... We can't have a QB performance like this in front of that crowd if we want to build this fan base... Someone better figure this shit out!!! QUICKLY!!!

Does anyone have info on whether or not either are going to play this season? Especially Goree?

Almost all my kids knew of him, but all for his Olympic run. They really got I to his story though...they were pulling for him throughout

This may not be directly football related, but I wanted to share how awesome Johnny Quinn is! I'm a principal at Junior High, and for the first day of school, worked it out to have Johnny come by and kick off the school year talking to the students. He is an amazing presenter, and had my kids excited all day long! He is a great ambassador for UNT! It was an amazing way to start off the year! Also got him to sign my all-century team magazine!

How many great payers from our recent past would we have lost if the P5 teams had 100 scholarships every year? Dunbar, Orr, Chancellor...etc It might be coming...

I know Mac likes to run the ball, but it isn't like we don't throw the ball anymore. If the team is winning games, 7 or more a season, I don't care what the offense is to be honest

I'm going to go out on a limb for a player I've wanted to see succeed since he got here, but hasn't been able to put it together yet...here is to hoping SIR CALVIN WALLACE puts it all together this year and can plug up the middle! DT is one of those positions that it takes some time to make the jump from HS to college...This will be his third season with the Mean Green and I'm calling it...IMPACT player in the middle of the D-line!

Does anyone have the same feeling that I do, in that the coaches roasted Dajon in the offseason in an attempt to break him down in order to build him up because they knew he was going to be the guy all along? I just get a feeling that this is how Mac works...he brought in Greer in case it didn't work, but it looks like Williams bulked up a little over summer (by roster measurements), and Mac keeps making it a point to mention that he is still in the middle of the race. Mac isn't the type of coach to just anoint a guy, but at the end of the day, he is a Mac recruit, who almost won the job as a true freshman last year. I don't know, but I have a hunch that he wants Williams to feel he needs to earn it, but will be the guy in the end.

Andrew Simmons - Farmersville HS Saw him play many times...played a lot of RB and LBer...Great speed for his size...good size...great character guy...looking forward to what he can do on a much bigger stage with better competition

I am a HUGE Bears fan, and I can say that the coaches have more than once commented on Trice...I wouldn't call him done yet. Once the pads go on later this week, I think he will continue to impress.

You are absolutely right...it will next to impossible for us to sell out without someone else bringing in some fans. We can have some very decent crowds, but not sellouts
