I agree...it really ticks me off when during one of the highest points in our history, a newbie comes in trying to save the program spewing some crap about pulling "tradition" out of our arses. Put it to bed Daddy Dumper...we don't want to hear about it...maybe I am speaking just for myself, don't want to include inncocent bystandards into my rant.

Did you look at this link when it was posted earlier in the thread...??? Mean Green Traditions Yes, we do not have participation that we would like in these traditions, but I think that is to come. Also, I have heard that Dodge is making ALL players learn the alma mater to sing with the fans after every game...That will add a lot by itself

Don't give much credit to all these predictions, especially Sunbelt predictions, because the majority of these guys don't cover the Belt, and make there predictions half-assed. Plus, if we went by all these damned predictions...why play the game right. Here is to 7-5! I follow the Belt, and that prediction is solid. GO MEAN GREEN!

Then you have to factor all the times he came out of games early due to lopsided leads late in games. Whether or not J-Mo get s the carries is not the question...he definately will get the opportunities. The question is whether or not he can do something with the carries he gets. I am a HUGE J-Mo guy, and I know he has had less than stellar lines, a one dimensional offense the last couple of years, and has had to fight off the hammy issues, but I have not seen the guy from his freshman year...he has to be that guy again, or we are going to see an new face...Cam Montgomery. With that said, someone will be be getting carries, and I would anticipate somewhere in the range of 20-25 carries a game.

In a perfect world, Vizza would be good enough to start in 2007, then he would start for 4 years, allowing Riley to redshirt in 2008, starting his junior and senior seasons...providing us VERY SOLID stability at the QB position for the next 6 years

There are several scenarios that have been running through my head since this news broke... 1) Vizza is the starter for 2007, and becomes a 4-year starter...Riley redshirts, and starts his junior and senior seasons when Vizza leaves 2) If Vizza doesn't start in 2007 you would think that he probably transfers IF the Riley commitment holds up 3) (MOST UNLIKELY OF THE SCENARIOS) Vizza redshirts in 2007, watches behind the 2007 starter who would be a senior in 2008, and then competes in a very heated competition for the starting role in 2009...with the coaches son who would be a true freshman. 4) (EVEN MORE UNLIKELY OF THE SCENARIOS) Vizza redshirts in 2007, watches behind the 2007 starter who would be a senior in 2008, and then starts in 2009 while Riley redshirts, then you have a cluttered mess in 2010 with some young promising QB doing a lot of bench sittin, or transfering. These quotes by Riley in a way worry me because you would think that Dad (T. Dodge) would have to talked to him about the depth chart and how it would have applied to him...I really liked the idea of being set at QB for the next 6 years if SCENARIO 1 played out. Granted Todd Dodge knows what he is doing, and I trust in that, do not get me wrong, but it just makes me wonder. Thoughts on the RIley Dodge quotes??? Anyone else having similar thoughts???

If you go to buffalobills.com, and look at their interactive depth chart, Johnny Quinn is the only receiver without a profile. The other two WR's from "lesser" schools, both have profiles highlighting their college and even high school careers. I want to know why the hell Johnny is the only one without a profile. Also, they gave him #40??? If he makes the team, I am sure that will change, but what the hell??? Let me know if I am splitting hairs here, but I am pissed!

Man...when was the last time Fouts rocked like that??? That was the best day in my 8 year NT history! That NMST game was unmatched for me. We were down at the half, but in those days you just knew that the team would find a way to win. MAN THOSE WERE THE GOOD DAYS!
