Yup, Zook screwed up while he was on the hot seat, but the fact is he's been on the hot seat from day one. Dickey is a great fit at UNT, because he can work with the type of recruits UNT gets. And while it has taken him a while, he's been able to improve the types of recruits UNT gets. And as far as this SBC's weak arguement goes; nearly every college sports authority would tell you this has been the SBC's strongest year. 3-0 shows that UNT has an edge and has been able to keep it.

Everyone on this thread is wrong. Zook is a better overall coach than Dickey, but Dickey is the right fit for UNT. DD works well with the support the University gives him

Why are people babling about Deloach, the title of the thread is Zook vs. DD. People are always yammering on this thread about the next level, and that Dickey can't get us there. If that's true then how come none of them stepped up and said sign Zook. He's got a national reputation and was able to bring in the number 1 recruit in the country last year. The Dickey supports stood up and made their opinion known, but the Dickey bashers continue with the ciricular logic of OOC games and a new stadium. Yet these posters never respond to anything about what a horrible off season we had.

I think it has more to do with the way DD recruits, big mass-recruit visits to the campus and not taking early signees.

Why? Our fans are being jacka$$es. Outside of the tar and the outcome what was wrong with Saturday's game? It was one of the biggest tailgating turn outs I've ever seen at UNT. We hit the 15K attendence mark against a team no one has heard of. The crowd was more "spirited" than most home games. Sorry if I thought this weekend was an improvement over some of the previous seasons home games. And I don't feel bad for people who acted like a deer in the headlights the moment they were told no. If your a current student, have a current student ID. Its takes less than a minute to get one and its free.

"Well, I'm going to write RV" Do you write Bill Gates when your PC doesn't work? Why don't some you try to work with the AD department instead of aimlessly trying to go straight for the top. Why are you boggin RV down with your minor complaints. Wouldn't you rather have him working on donors for a new stadium, than forwarding your emails back down the chain of command in the AD.

And to hope on this band wagon of buzz kills, I didn't get a massage at half time. And now one held by hand when I went potty. And they didn't give me free beer. And some of the other fans smelled bad. And I wasn't allowed to bring in my shoppong cart. And RV didn't personally greet me at the gate. This thread is pathetic.

I'm a student, I was in the student section last night. I didn't have any of these problem untgirl is describing. My group was allowed to come an go as many times as we wanted. The users did try to keep the ailes clear.

I'm not really sure we have problem here. There seems to only be one poster who had problems with the ushers. I sat in the students section. My group was able to get up and move anytime we wanted. You shouldn't throw things at a football game, food or other wise. Don't bring sticks or other items that may injure someone. Don't block others view of the feild with additional items. Standing is one thing, but large banners are another. And this take care of yourself mentality only works until some hits/pushes/spits/yells/whatever.

Flags are cool. Flag poles aren't. I don't want to get poked in the eye because someone is flailing around. Because then of course, I'd have to throw them off the back of Fouts. Suck'a!

This thread has gone from compliants about no outsided bottles to FB will die without a new stadium to I got my flag taken away. You shouldn't be able to bring in outside food or water. People will bring in alcohol and throw food. It also protects the concessions market. You shouldn't be allowed to bring in a flag pole. It dangerous, and can be used as a weapon. Also your act of school spirt blocks someone else's view. And finally the new stadium would probably have the same "new" rules.
