I think everyone had this team pegged for somewhere between 5-7 wins this season, and knew we'd be 1-1 at the end of these two games. But with the way the rest of the Belt is playing what wins to you see the rest of the way?

Umm, that would be a pro-team. Yes the passing game needs improving, but we all know there is no quarterback tree. The bigger concern is the number of third and 5+ situations we in.

This thread is predicated on the idea that casual fans buy tickets to events because they want to see the stadium and not the actual game. Stadium tours are for die hard fans. A new stadium may help a casual fan to decided to attend a game for their team to check out the stadium, but they don't just go for the stadium.

MWC - lost their franchise programs, adds WAC teams they originally broke away from, and their tv networked folded CUSA -heavily raided by Big East, adds fcs start ups, but gains bigger divisions SBC - loses biggest market teams, adds fcs start ups MAC - loses biggest market team WAC-dies

Is that the first place we've seen it printed that the new CUSA will only have 8 conference games? 6 Divisional games, 2 inter-divisional games, 4 OOC games.

Let's be honest, some of the people on this board shouldn't be allowed near the schools. In all seriousness we should focus on what are things we can do as fans to increase attendance. Calls for professors to give extra credit or for the university to spend extra money on promotions are unrealistic. So let's focus on things we can do like.... *I will put this game on my schedule today *I will bring one extra person with me to the game *I will bring an extra 30-pack to the game and beer everyone I see *I will put a link to the football schedule in my email signature *I will invite a stranger to have a burger or hot dog at my tailgate *I will bring a bounce house and some baby oil to my tailgate

Didn't LSU play Oregon for an OOC game last year? The problem with college football isn't the top 10 playing the bottom tem. The problem is FBS vs. fcs, and the top 25-50 playing the bottom team. The real problem with cupcake wars is when the middle of the BCS conferences dodge the top of the mid-majors.
