Besides UNT VS. KSU more than likely Baylor vs. Wake Forest is the only game a winner is up in the air and could hurt Wake's chance for a good bowl.

We will be better, I think the biggest problem in the past was with the recruiting. When UNT was on top we were still going after mediocre players. Please let me stress not all players were average, I do not need a recap on numbers, but normally when a team goes to a bowl, players line up to explore the university. UNT just kind of stayed the same, I mean Sports announcers in Austin were calling us Northern Texas State. So clearly if people three hours away didn't know our name then students looking to go big didn't know it either. With the changes made this past year look for a .500+ season.

Isn't this one of those Positive sandwiches from the business world. The writer claims UNT is not any good, yet puts up 600 yards and has a head coach who can turn players into stars. In fact I cant think of anything else to say about this. It is almost like he is saying. Dont watch this game because KSU will destroy UNT, but if you do happen to catch the game its gonna be fun!

No matter what the name I hope this takes off. I remember last year something like this was trying to get set up and was met with much negativity. But non athlete students interacting with the coach is a plus.

At least the MWC is well founded. Check out the 1aa Pioneer League. Campbell from Buies Creek, NC plays a conference game in San Diego on top of playing schools in Indiana and Iowa. I would not be surprised if this conference wins for most miles traveled in a season.

The fact that Espn and Sportline have Rice to go 8-4 this year should help fill the seats as well.

The New Mexico is kind of neat, a little switch from always seeing TCU. But with OSU as number two I have to disagree with their ranking.

Non-BCS teams have some hunger to win. This year could be crazy. 2-0 going into LSU will make it that much better!

I saw on KSU schedule that UNT does not have an air time, but they went ahead and made one for Montana State on FSN the following week.

I have two thoughts on this matter. First I can see how blogs effect the athletic community when posters personally attack a poster. A number of times to rebuttal a post, blogers attack the person not the comment. Second, a few negative posters could sway the outcome. Meaning. Lets say we have a member body of 30,000 people of whiuch 29,990 are ok with the athletic departments idea on funding, planing, or new items being added to athletic department. Yet 10 people could strongly voice their opposition to the matter killing the issue while it could have been a huge success

Some of the helmets are out of date. I wish some of the less known teams were on there. Couple where gives aways I guess

Kansas State will be a dysfunctional team on Aug 30. Most of the team is made up of transfers. Its crazy to think that a team who is mostly going to be made up of individuals trying to make a name for themselves instead of thinking about playing smart is going to destroy us. The players are only thinking about catching the ball for 100yrds, make the biggest defense play, and run every kick back for a touchdown this only works when everyone wants to be apart of the Victory. To say that this game against KSU is in the same boat as past teams like Baylor, Arkansas, OU, and Texas etc.. is hard to imagine KSU first game will be all about someone trying to make a name for themselves. Hopefully, UNT will be well established and work together. Just like my fortune cookie said it is the year of the Underdog, his enemy are cats.

I bet Oklahoma City would get a bowl before Denton. I would not be surprised however if one day the Sugar Bowl was played at Cowboy Stadium.

Having seen FIU campus I totaly agree. I cant be much larger than Brookhaven or Northlake.
