I have called and emailed sports reporters on the major networks in the past asking for more coverage. Basically, they cover the Big 3 in Texas and OU(for some reason) and will show the score for UNT but have limited time left to show highlights. I hope that changes this year.

The fans I talked to at TCU games last year are increasing to be majority parents. The TCU average fan always attended TCU games but now that they gotten bigger and better parents are also taking part in athletics and not just enjoying the academic aspects of their child's education. SMU has an older fan base, point being with every passing year the older crowed dwindles and the younger students are not filling the seats. North Texas is the only DFW school left to truly increase season tickets, we can bring in the parents and older alumni with the new stadium.

I would like to see a Texas league. The money the conference could bring in with sold out stadiums and low travel cost would be amazing. Pac-10 ACC How about the Texas-10 (or so)

The WAC might be at the bottom of the barrel but I bet the Big 12 falls first. Assuming the NCAA ok's the Bevo channel allowing for Texas to recruit weekly on TV, say bye to OU and A&M and what is left of the league. The Longhorn network is a sleeper cell, the WAC will never lose the amount money this bad idea is about to cost the Big 12.

They should go D1A and play in the LoneStar Conf. Bulk up the program and enrollment before going to the WAC. They have to remember the attendance numbers and cost of travel before considering an offer.

Any word if they will have the Sunbelt logo on the 25 yard line?

With FIU being first it makes the first game that much more important. But I wonder why they have us going to the NO Bowl if we are ranked 3rd?

I have been waiting for them to start this. I kept checking weekly. We will see what happens and how healthy their QB really is.

Great way to promote past players and events. On Sept 3rd all that stuff can stay in the past though, only looking ahead.

I remember being in Miami in 06 and FIU was playing at a high school stadium. They have come a long way.
